Struggle to see what they've been doing for the past 6 years. Same low res car models, same dull audio, same dumb AI. At least the environment looks a little more filled out.

Got me excited with this. Just keep adding little details yes certaintly adding big ticket items such as tracks and cars are nice. But pit crews working, hybrids operating like hybrids is refreshing. Please keep it up.

Damn! It's looking more and more like a simcade. I hope I'm wrong. All I (we?) want is realistic handling. Seems a lot to ask - you'd think that by now Turn10 would be able to deliver on that front. Even if they get it to the AMS2 or PC2 level in terms of handling and physics then they would capture not only the simcade market but also the sim racing market which is bigger than perhaps they realise. Oh and if by some miracle they created a game with handling and physics that compares to iracing then the universe would implode; iRacing would be forced to update their 2002 graphics and the villagers would rejoice. If only.

Been playing since Motorsports 3 and I am BEYOND excited for this game! Fav track is Maple Valley.

I also like the pit crew animation during pit stops!!! Great improvement over FM7!!!!

Looks great, but hope the steering wheels compatibility will are more realistics and improved in comparison of previous FM's.

You ever notice that the rear-view mirrors, when outside the car, always show the left on the right and vice versa... you can tell when the car gets close to the rumble strip.

Only 20 (TWENTY!) tracks, rest will be in the form of extra DLC. And you people are happy with this... What a sad picture of today gamers.

Very nice! Any game that allows you to start off with an FK8 Honda Civic Type R has my attention. Looking good Forza. Looking good. BTW that blow off sound on the turbo is on point! Also, that drifting in the Type R was a nice touch!

In the second race with the Corvette Hypercar... Modern Corvette, but old Porsche and old Bentley, not the M4, but the M6, the V12 Aston (though i love that car) and a Ferrari 488 generation while we have had the 296 for qiet some time now. You can sense that this game was in development for 6 years. But not in a good way if the "new" race cars in a (and it must be for the Corvette to make sense) "modern" racing game are half a decade old. Why not use a realistic field of cars?

I think I expected more from the graphics but it's slowly growing on me, I know they now have a 360 degree steering angle and the sounds are really good so far, many people think it took 6 years although they didn't count that the team will be busy for FM7 after its release for a year at least and not to mention covid I believe all this didn't make them a solid 6 years of development I think its more like 4 years like horizon 5 for example which took 3, as consumers we'll never know how much effort will be put into these environments and physics models ofc it'll take them time although I want them to still be better I hope they remove these outdated car models

The fact Forza keeps showing outside camera while driving, they are focused on the console arcade players, hard core true sim racers never use outside cameras... even iracing doesn't even allow it... I'm afraid this game is not going after the real sim racers, like Flight Simulator does. Keep the arcade stuff for Forza Horizon for god sake.

I'm sorry, but this barely looks bettern than FM7. Especially when you compare the side by side videos other RU-vidrs have done. What have you been doing for the past 6 years Turn10? I mean seriously? How does your "next gen" game look barely better than the previous gen version?

My main takeaway... showing their own racing line to be completely wrong with when to be on the brakes etc.

The minimap has that older 2000s vibes to it. Love it!

Maybe consider adding in negative scoring system for the car level system when the player makes contact w/ another car, or 3 wheels off, ect. Only adding points, regardless of bad overtakes or not, only reinforces the bad driving.

Yes the environment is impressive... but apart from that it doesn't really look incredible... looks really plain but that might just be weird brightness settings... but there are so many small imperfections that add up... like the backfire's light going through the car and onto the ground...

My biggest issue is the lack of tracks with only 20 tracks at release when FM7 launched with 33, GT7 launched with over 30 & even they felt repetitive quite often. With no info on how many or how often post-launch tracks will come it does have me worried & i won't be rushing to get this. It's all well & good having almost 500 cars but kind of lame not having a substantial amount of tracks to use them on.

no vr no race I didn't invest in a pc set up, to not get vr racing, i invested in my hobby racing, i disappointed this has no vr, i was looking forward to investing in forza motorsports again, but no vr investment from turn 10

I hope the replay cameras became a lot better!!! I wished that more cockpit views would be featured in this video, mainly outside camera (no real sim racer would choose this perspective).

1:28 you slightly nudged that car! if that was online someone would be crying to Turn 10 and they would ban you for 2 weeks and give you a speech about hand holding and being nice to everyone , dont be competitive what so ever....

the LMPs might be more spot on than iRacing, the cut gears with the whine for the cockpit view might be the only thing it’s missing

Overall, I'd have to say that was great! Please don't go over kill with the DLC. But it definitely looks like a game I want to play!!! That's from a LONG time Forza gamer. Since FM3.

17:12 - LMAO!!! What kind of physics allows you to powerslide a front wheel drive car and hold it there with the throttle ? The correct behavior should be understeer when applying the throttle, not oversteer. I mean this is frankly shocking to see such non-sensical physics in this type of game in 2023.

Cutscenes look great, sense of speed seems really good and smooth, in-race graphics look good-ish (japan lighting looks great). I'm sure RU-vid compression isn't helping, but everything looks a little washed out. Sounds are ok. Cars look great in cutscenes/garages/menu interface and good (little arcady) on the track. Would be cool to have the blurred steering wheel cockpit view of the cut-scenes. Overall it looks quite promising. Definitely looks and feels more alive and engaging than GT and i'm a GT fan.

Ouch, some frame rate drops here and there, guessing this is running on a Series X. Graphics look OK. Not really a massive step up from the previous Forza games. If you hadn`t told me this was a new Forza game I could have mistaken it for Forza 7 on PC.

Please get rid of the fog otherwise all the details get lost and it looks pretty sh*t

The npc drives again with totally different vehicles like on a string of pearls one speed without overtaking maneuvers. Where is the improvement to Forza Motorsport 7? And witch Race Driver drive from the outsinde? Where is the onbord View?

Looks great and can't wait for it, but it would have been great to have more footages with the onboard camera.

I feel like they made a lot of poor decisions on this game and it’s gonna be a flop. I can’t be the only one who thinks this. I mean imo the having to spend hours on each individual car sounds aweful. They won’t have a drift or drag mode. Stupid af choice there. Some of the car models are from previous games as usual. They steal put in the same ugly af forza aero that people have been complaining about since the beginning. Something tells me they arnt gonna have custom lobbies either. I hope they do or this game is pretty much gonna fail regardless of how good the driving is

Imma wait for it to actually come out cause since FH5 launch I'm assuming this game will have ton of bugs and Network issues on launch. Also they are still very so very silent about the car list. No pre order this time no ultimate edditions either..

Showcasing a racing game with racing line and camera from back of the car has nothing to do with sim racing. It’s just arcade. Big disappointment. I have no interest in an arcade game. Staying with Assetto Corsa games.

I really hope the menus are better than FM7. I dont complain much about UI in games often. But it was almost unusable in 7. Things were laid out in such a messed up way

The scenes from 12:25 and from 13:04 are very realistic, the lighting is incredible.

I hope that this is the true successor to FM4. I haven't truly enjoyed / loved Forza Motorsport since Forza 4. I've been enjoying the Horizon series for the last decade, but am really excited to get back into some real racing & hot lapping with Forza Motorsport. 😎👍

I was a little concerned about the car level grind but it looks like the levels come quick as long as you don't drive like a wally. The crunchy impact sounds are gold.

VR please. gran turismo has it assetto corsa has it iracing has it automobilista 2 has it f1 2023 has it no excuse.

Pop in rendering is well optimized from what I see here! More games need this
