+KnucklestheEcidna I had trouble with one of the fights with gorgostroika and zinodious, can't remember what the name of the area was, just that i think angato was able to be found in it?

the only place that was really challenging was the black wale (final dungeon).

it depends on who your team is. my team was maximum rank (30) and still lost multiple times.

KnucklestheEcidna I was talking more about the fight against zinodious and gorgostroika in the angato area, that i was underlevelled there. I lost a ton to dreadraven though.

I'll never understand why the one Fossil Fighters them in all of Smash Bros is the regular battle theme from this game. If they really had to use a Frontier theme then it should've been this one.

@@ksm441 増量は普通にショップで買えるようにしてほしかったですよね… 増量リバイバーは基本みんな強いんですよね… 低コストで高火力チェーン技連発のプテランEUだったり… なぜか体力210でオート回復のブラキオンだったり…

So True, Angato is my more trusted vivosaur for a reason, i saw a post back then saying in one of the few vivosaurs that can survive the final bossfights

@Qauryx8484 I'm pretty sure you have frozen wastes and starry falls unlocked at that point. Gorgo and Cryo are actually pretty good with their fear and paralysis skills

Conner Jones Really? I have some major problems with this game, mainly the combat and digsite exploration. Because of the overhaul on how both fossil battles and digging function, some battles/fossils are tougher than they should be. I'm not kidding when I say I failed on digging up a Sungari head fossil multiple times because of both the damn size plus low battery (need I mention that this fossil was in THE FIRST AREA OF THE DAMN GAME) as well as failing the later BR lieutenants because they had so many LP recoveries. And don't get me started on how dumb your partners can be at times. Don't get me wrong, I like this game but it just has too much of a leap from Champions that it left a small handful of salt in my mouth because it feels the developers focused a bit too much on the multiplayer that everything had to translate well in the single player.

+LordDinosaur i didn't say it wasn't without problems, just that i liked it.

+Conner Jones i personally fell there's LESS strategy involved now that you only control one vivosaur. And that most of their stats are exactly the same. There's also no real support effects, witch required you to create a well thought out team to win, where this game, if you're not at a type disadvantage & are a high enough level, you can win any fight.

+Conner Jones so you can as you put it EASILY BEAT the Grand Finale with ONLY A fully leveled Nibbles?

Lord Bootyquake I wouldn't go that far. Nuts and Bolts had cars replace everything. Frontier only gave us cars as a means of travel. The core game stayed the same.

The worst part was they had less dinos and a really complicated to the point of boring system for collecting vivosaurs. If you wanted a certain rare fossil you had to basically grind which was such a pain.

That would be Fossil Fighters 4, unless it’s intended to be a sequel specifically to Frontier. There are two other Fossil Fighters games being Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters Champions.

+AwesomeOcto I'm Rank max with Sero (nibbles) and I use Tarbo and the viking guy as party member also Rank max. I just can't seem to beat the grand Finale. I get as close as 150 hp or so left before losing.

Use vivosaurs with poison attacks or that have Lp recovery, that dragon is sturdy as hell.

I used a high ranked Ampelo.

I never did grinding altho I came in with Becky at max rank and a Thalasso.

oh and I also forgot that you have a forced patner who will always do just over 50 but his accuracy is about 75%... and if he misses or he dies or you have only him left... youre screwd... or destined for a very long match... I persnally always used my sungari Red Rocket and I had trouble... Im unsure what that will say for everyone elses odds of victory... but... yeah...

+Bokune9999 Have you tried poison? All I did was have Angato and constantly apply halitosis (could be wrong on the name) with accuracy up. If poison can make the final boss from a pain in the ass to a total joke, then it can work on the flying rock skink.

LordDinosaur honestly I just go through the game with my Sungari... havnt trained anything else... and I DO NOT feel like grinding...

10 min with Thalasso and Becky. Grinded Mei and Sasuke, I hate forced partners.

+ShadowLugia141 the first battle against the earth dragon was easy. it ended and I couldn't enjoy this epic theme cause it ended too quickly.

I pretty much just stole earth dragons lunch money, none of the vivosaurs on my team went below half health and earth dragon onky attacked like 4 times

Honestly the only horrible part was the fact 2 of your allies are at controlled. It’s honestly a lot of fun driving around the dig sites. The tournaments were like a better version of the postgame ones for champions. The lack of variety was also kind of meh. The first two were still better but this game honestly wasn’t bad

@@ignoremypaststupidity2719 I wholeheartedly agree if they had the original vivosaur designs and you controlled all 3 vivosaurs it woulda been a really niche game

+KnucklestheEcidna I have the entire soundtrack, including all of the sound effects, because I extracted the raw files from the ROM itself. Of course, I may need to look up that cutscene just to figure out which music plays. :)

I have a feeling it's this track that played. would have been nice if that duel had a special track of it's own as it was a rival duel.

yup 1 and 2 were great tho 3 was shit hope they make a 4th tho and make it competitive for 3ds w original battle style

Dunosoor man Frontier was a good game. Its just far from what the source material used to be. Just because it's different, doesn't mean it's bad. Champions had more vivosaurs, but Frontier makes up for it with faster traveling, and huge dig sites. You may only control one vivosaur, but fighting is still decently fun when you boil down the criticism, all it turns out to be is "Its different, so I don't like it. This is coming from a long time fan mind you.
