Been on a Fossil Fighters nostalgia trip recently and found this video. I was surprised when I looked at the views and subscriber count. This video has the production value of a hundred thousand subscriber channel!! You definitely deserve more views and subs!
Describing it as something similar to a Saturday morning cartoon is a very apt way of putting it, with each chapter feeling like an episode of a show with it's own set of characters for something on the DS that's usually meant to be picked up and played for a while. As an extra thing, I really love the interview the developers had for the game around it's release, and it really felt like they put all their heart and love into making the game. Loved the video overall, your humor and editing were really entertaining throughout!
Very enjoyable video. I needed this since I was just going down a nostalgia trip. I remember using a v-raptor poison setup I do not remember Dr Diggins being such a GIGACHAD! I LOVE the terrible puns 38:30 you can preach that!
Look all I’m saying is if Diggens was in the MCU, Thanos wouldn’t last a week! Also 38:30, kinda of odd to put that heartfelt mini-rant in a video titled “Dinos before hoes”. But I wanted to brag on Fossil Fighters for putting a little more thought into the usual romantic junk that’s usually in childrens media.
This was a really nice video! The jokes sucked (complimentary) and most of the visual gags were surprisingly well executed. I enjoyed what you had to say about my favorite game, and can't wait for future videos.
46:00 so there is a lot of post game quests your missing here the yeti you have to dig up from the ground, the oasis seeds being 20k is not a lot after game because jewel rocks at later locations give you HELLA money, if you go back to rivet ravine also there are TONS of new vivosaurs and even another sneaky side quest in the tunnels with moles in a hole, and beating dynal gives you dynal and you can also get frigi and igno, and etc. you get the picture.

BRO I LOVED THIS. I absolutely adored Fossil Fighters and Fossil Fighters Champions and was thinking of cracking open my DS and starting a new play through. This confirmed it for me to start again. Used to love the game as a kid and still love it even now. Any thoughts on the Dinosaur King game? Or, if you ever played it, Battle of Giants: Dinosaurs ? Used to love both those games too and was thinking of buying them again.
I’ve heard of both of them (not entirely sure on giants) but my cousin did have dinosaur king on DS I remember watching the show as a kid. I actually funnily enough rewatched most of Dinosaur King some years back and I was pretty surprised to seeing that series had a lot to do with aliens too! Its like that doofenshmitz quote “if I had a nickel for every ds game series about dinosaurs with ties to aliens, I’d have two nickels……which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice!”
@@Chubby_Bubby it’s actually hilarious you mention rewatching it cause I’m actively rewatching it right now! I adored the Dinosaur King series as a kid and would watch it whenever I could. Figured I’d see how it holds up today and while it’s goofy and very much for kids…it’s still amazing in my heart. It is weird how many dinosaur games have to do with aliens though! But definitely would love to see a review of the game if you had one for it. If not, I’ll happily wait for the other fossil fighters videos while I play through the first game again after many years.
Dude seeing all your fossil fighters videos makes me so happy dude. It's upsetting how few quality videos there are. I've played the games ever since I was little and I'm always hoping they'll make another entry in the series or make a remake. Gonna lose it if we get frontier 2

Good review. I just beat a few days ago after someone recomended it to me like a week ago. It starts a little slow, but it doesnt need grinding and fossil variety was awesome. Spinax is a great starter i replaced and came back to all the time. And i liked Carno a lot too. The battles while simple had enought strategy to not get boring on the later chapters and at least some where actual challenges. And the writting was just the perfect level of funny and serious that gets you on board with the most out there ideas the game throws at you past the midpoint. Even characters i didn't liked at first, like Rosie and Saurhead quickly got into my good side. Duna was just the best IMO, good design, character arc and very competent both as a rival or as an ally.
I'm sorry about your game card. But on the bright side, your story tells me their a good chance your the closest thing to a real-life Hunter from fossil fighters. So that's pretty cool!
Honestly the worst part of all the postgame Vivosaurs is that it's mostly popular ones. T-Rex is a postgame Vivosaur. The dinosaur on the box, the most famous of all time, postgame. Bruh.

I really haven’t been promoting my stuff man. Since this has been my sort of hobby when I’m not working or doing school. But honestly with the crazy amount of time I put into these things I am considering maybe trying to promote this channel in a bigger way. If not for profit then to atleast let other people see some of my ideas.
Prety good 👍 but you accidentally said 2 transformation vivosaurs exist when theres 3, guan, proto and aopteryx, but you might have forgotten about aopteryx because its in the post game only inless you buy it.
Oh cool, I only knew about Proto and Guam while making the video. Transformation is a pretty unique trait among vivosaurs and to be honest I only knew about proto because I saw it on the transformation page on the wiki.
Oh for the BG I used the DS Icon for the game and the little mate you clean the fossil on with a colored background. I didn’t want just a still image or color for the background so I really tried somthing abit more complex unlike the background in my Ranger video that was just a still image. For the border I literally just took the fossil rock sprite and made it a pattern. Then I textured it with the sprite again, to give it a 3d feel. Then i spent sometime just kind of messing around with the angle and opacity til I got it just right. Thanks for noticing btw I’m pretty proud about how those two things came out!

16:10 you can still have a team skill with 3 different vivosaur elemental types lol (Im sorry I'm commenting so much I shall stop here now lol) team variety for beginners in this game seems to be a big issue as I always see everyone pick vivosaurs from the first 3 dig sites and use them all game.
C tier? I have to disagree. I'd say it's at its worst a B- and at best a B+. The two games in the franchise are fantastic. Simple fun. And yeah theres only 2 games. Let's hope that red entertainment gets another crack at making the first again. Keep all the bizarre humor and no "changing fir modern audiences". Clean up the models and up the textures from 240p to 480p
C tier just means importance to Nintendo. Like Mario, Pokémon, and Zelda are A. Kirby, Metroid, and Pikmin are B. And somthing like Fossil fighters, F-Zero, Punch-Out, ect. They aren’t really all that important TOO Nintendo comparatively. So they only make small appearances even in things like smash. In my own personal rankings, yeah fossil fighters is way up there! I hope you stick around to see my video on the 3rd game cause that’s probably going to be the most interesting to make.
Honestly team skills are worse than your vivo's strongest moves. Seriously look at the values. There is practically no use unless your AZ vivo has an insane attack boost.
Woah I was not expecting an FF vid on this channel. I don’t care about FF fan content enough to watch it, but I’ll say my thoughts on the game. Good game, very very fun. First plotline is alright, second one is awful. Like really badly written it’s ridiculous. Yet it keeps you hooked. It’s so stupid and the game is so fun that you can’t look away. Much like the Kardashians. Final thoughts: Second Game is entirely superior.
@@Chubby_Bubby I don’t really play many RPGs honestly. Just Pokemon, FossilFighters and Deltarune. Fun Fact I played FF long before I played Pokémon, or at least owned my first Pokémon game. I got FF1 and FFC when I was 7 and got Pokémon Moon when I was 11.
