Their music really have matured throughout the year. They're all seem to be very awkward in here, whereas now they're rocking stages all over the world with full confidence. I can't wait for their next album.
The best part about Foster the People (you know, aside from their brilliant music) is watching the videos and seeing the energy, the fervor, the tangible happiness and glee on every one of their faces while they perform. Look at Mark Foster - does it not look like he could just die from the enjoyment he's getting out of playing the music? I could watch their videos over and over purely because of this.
The one thing I love most about foster the people and what makes them unique is that their live performances sound exactly the same as their album or even better.
Omg . I love this so muuch, he just played like how many instruments, and Mark's still smiling and jumping around, you can obviously tell they love what they do, and work hard to make it work, and damn does it ever . ♥
You know, I've noticed there seem to be a lot of bands out there now who are so obviously in love with what they're doing and just having so much fun! The music itself is absolutely amazing but what they are saying is equally so. It feels to me like a call to Wake Up. ^^
Ali: Foster the People are so awsome I listsen to songs everyday , everynight , everywhere. Plus they are so so ..... cute ; >. FOSTER the PEOPLE ROCZ! Love everyone who loves them. You all rock...in my heart! So keep the beat playing!
"What's your style? and who do you listen to?" whooooo cares. Love that line, live by it. Do not conform, do not follow, stand out......be what you are ; )
dis is i think my fav song from d whole album, i hope som1 does a tutorial of dis song in d piano cuz i love dat piano solo, i would learn it in 10 min also
BEST SONG ON THE GAME!! #SWAG!!!! I fuckin love this band! First pumped up kicks, now this!?.. Jesus Christ, they're awesome. When are they coming to England?
@TheUberpeter god i'm thinking the same thing! i saw them last night and danced to every single song, so did everyone around me. sooo much fun, it's impossible not to dance!
you have to remember though, this audience in April 2011 had never heard any of the torches songs before (besides puk, helena beat and houdini), let alone heard them live so it's understandable that they're not jumping around on the first play.
mark is really in his element while actually playing, but as soon as you stick him alone with a microphone the poor guy is almost lost. let the man play his piano! i love watching him groove out while playing
