Fountain Pen Chat: New pens updates; Asvine V126 vs Pilot Custom 823, which one is better? 

I have a 823 and I can’t describe how perfect this pen is for everyday use. Right out of the box-not perfect, but i swear they have a “break in” period..after that, the most perfect pen one could own.

I do not have a custom 823, but I LOVE my Asvine V126s!!! I've got all 3 nib sizes and all 6 colors! They work amazing right out of the box and are some of my favorites!

I do have the Asvine V126 and i do agree with you that I like the feel of this pen.

Although my v126 has the best m nib ever! The grip section bites into the tips of my fingers So I need to grab it near the treads. Amazing pen. Easy to clean. Fun to ink.

I have owned two Custom 823s that I loved. And made the mistake of selling them. I just ordered two V126 pens and some extra medium nibs to grind into small itallics. I'm looking forward to trying them out

I love my I love my V126 for the money but it does not even remotely compare to my 823s.

Also if you loose a 35€ pen is going to be different than loosing a 300+ one
