Julia - thanks for so many wonderful, easy recipes. Simple to elimate things we don't eat (pork, for example), or to avoid milk and meat combos for those who are kosher. Appreciate your simple, down to earth recipes.
I really do appreciate that great feedback. Thank you so much for sharing that and I’m happy to hear that you’re able to make those substitutions. Thanks so much again and I hope you enjoy some of these meals😊
I agree the Instant Pot can be intimidating, but it is so versatile and a huge time saver! There is really nothing to be afraid of if you just follow the directions. These all look delicious, as usual!
Hi Julia! I have my mom using her instant pot confidently now- she was always afraid of the steam release I think. Pressure cooker pots were so dangerous when she was younger! Good to see Brinkley’s sweet baby face as always!
You are so sweet Val! I think you would enjoy the instant pot it is a time saver. I was so scared to use it at first, and I did make a few dinner fails in it but after I figured out how to use it I absolutely love it! It really saves time on dinner. Making rice, hard boiled eggs, boiled chicken is all easy and some of my favorite things to make in it (:
Yum. I will try the tortellini soup and the Parmesan chicken pasta this week!! Thank you Julia for another fantastic video! Hope your staying well. Sending you a big hug !
It's a GREAT DAY! I get Julia AND Mandy in one morning! And you're helping me with the under-utilization of my (five) electric multi-cookers. The pork chops look amazing and will be going into Julia's YUMs along with the Parmesan chicken pasta.
I really need to give my IP more of a workout...I use it at least once a week for my bone broth, but it doesn’t occur to me often to cook whole meals in it. These all look so yummy and easy!
Those look fabulous. We do not have an instapot but it does look good enough to think about getting one. Black Friday sales are already starting. Have a fantastic Friday, Julia! xo
(Made Instant pot pork chops and gravy) New to owning an instant pot first recipe made in it.... I doubled the recipe and used pork gravy instead of brown gravy served with mashed potatoes and corn and it was so delicious thank you so much!!!!
I think instant pots are real easy to use now....because there are instructions and tips all over the internet including youtube. Just watch those videos and read info. If I can see something done I learn pretty easy! As always I love your videos/recipes!! Youre still my top fav!!😊😁😉😎
All the recipes looked awesome, thanks so much for sharing this with us Julia. I’ve been wanting an instant pot cooker but scared of it because of the horror stories I’ve heard 😔 Hope y’all have a great day ❤️😊
Oh my those recipes look delicious I think I need an instant pot . That chicken pasta one & pork chops looked awesome . Love that the recipes are so simple have a great day . Hope everything is good ..
Wow! What a time saver and way more versatile than crockpot, but I too am nervous about the pressure lid??? Your recipes are so easy and quick. There's many days health wise I can barely cook. Might have to invest in this??? Maybe?
Thank you for this! I am going grocery shopping today and I will be adding these recipe ingredients to make my dinners easy this week! xo Hope you are feeling well! xo
Hi my friend...great IP recipes... the Parm Chicken Pasta looks yummy. I think I want to try it very soon...Thanks for sharing. I always love when Brinley pops in the kitchen to help you 💕
That chili looked delicious!! I never thought of adding a sweet potato! Thanks for the great ideas! A big hello to you and your family🙂 Enjoy your weekend!
That pasta dish and the tortellini look so good. Anytbing pasta is always the best! How is the texture of pasta in the instant pot? I've never tried it! Great video 💕
@Rachel Castle, don't be afraid of the Instant Pot. Once you try one you'll be kicking yourself for not getting one sooner. It's a game changer for sure!! Don't listen to all the stuff you hear about them blowing up. I promise you that won't happen!! Super safe & easy to use.
Hello Julia- what a fun video! You had so many wonderful recipes and I love that they were in the Insta pot. I adore mine! It makes cooking easy and quick. I think I’ll make the Parmesan chicken first- yum. Thanks so much for sharing 💕
The creamy Parmesan chicken pasta looks and sounds delicious! I stock up on boneless breasts when my local supermarket has them on sale, so my freezer is full. Always looking for a new way to prepare them and I think I've found one! Thanks for sharing. Take care. Stay safe.
Yum all of these meals looked really good. I love the one that was vegan because the sweet potatoes sounds really good! When you are running low on time at the 1/2 way point cooking your rice you could pour frozen peas and carrots on top of your rice and cover and finish cooking, it will heat the veggies right up. Do you freeze your left over tomato paste? I am making the tortellini one today. I dont have diced tomatoes so I will make my own when I make my onions and garlic hope it works. Lol
Instant Pots are seriously so amazing! You will fall in love with it, along with the Ari fryer! I hope you have a wonderful day and feel free to ask any questions you may have anytime:)
Julia, I made the chicken garlic noodle recipe tonight. The flavor was good but.....I used gluten free noodles and it came out mushy. ☹️ I’ll try less cooking time next time. I never give up on the first try. 😃 🤗
Oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that Michelle! Maybe it was because the GF noodles. I’ve never used GF noodles for this recipe. Thanks for the feedback my sweet friend 💜
Where did you get your little white bottle you got your oil in?? I love it!!! I looking on Walmart and amazon I didn’t see anything like that. Just a bunch of stainless steel ones and clear glass ones..
Julia, what if i had to double the amount of pork chops inside of the instant pot, can they be stacked? Or laid against each other slightly elevated? Would the time need to be increased for about 6 or 7 pork chops?
For the veggie chili, did you cook the sweet potato first or just have a really good knife!? You cut it so easily, I always have to really really work at chopping sweet potatoes! It all looks good, and not being a huge fan of pork chops I actually think I want to try this way! Thanks for the video!
Does anyone have a good way to organize their recipes- like an app or something? I bought a bunch of groceries to make a lot of recipes and now I’m struggling to find the correct videos! (To be honest, while putting groceries away I couldn’t even remember which recipe some items were purchased for! 😂)
Absolutely! I am working so hard on that cookbook. Believe me, nobody wants it out sooner than I do! Ha ha. As soon as it is ready I will let you all know💜🙌🏼🙌🏼
That's actually a pretty common misconception. It can be more dangerous to wash it and spread meat juices everywhere. If you like to wash it, no problem, but it's not necessary. 👍🏻
