I know you've addressed this before, but I have to say I truly love how friendly and helpful you are to other tow drivers. Far too often the bosses treat other companies like negative competition and you are "enemies" who hate each other.

I like the way you go to help other wrecker firms deal with a problem and lend your tools and you all help each other do the clear ups

On Nissans and infinitis, if you buckle the driver’s belt before opening the door, they will stay in neutral. Great work as always. Love watching ya

With those electronic shifters if you connect the drivers side seatbelt before sitting down it'll keep it from going back into park when you open the door

If the car reverts to park when the door opens, you can make the car think the door is closed when it is open. With the door open, manipulate the latch on the door to the closed position (simulate what the B pillar striker does to the latch). Then you can shift it to neutral and have easy access to the interior of the vehicle. Just be careful not to slam the door closed with the latch in the closed position. Yep It is hard to winch yourself out if it has to be in park. Luckily I have a manual transfer case that isn't recognized as a disabling condition. Makes it nice for respooling cables.

Just have to be smart than the average bear lol

I've found that a lot of the electric vehicles, if you plug the seatbelt in theyll stay in neutral, idk if that works for every one but it has for me so far

Don’t make the mistake of thinking a modern truck will somehow protect you. They are just suck in a bigger size and price.

that really sucks that those poles got hit. those shoebox lights look to be mercury vapor or metal halide or possibly high pressure sodium. the will most likely be replaced with flat ugly LED's that don't even have proper optics. RIP! pity.

Should've helped lift it with the wheel lift so the front end of the tow truck wouldn't come up off the ground.

Hi Dustin, I´ve seen you struggle with newer automatic cars that automatically go into park when you open the driver´s door. Have you tried attaching the seat belt from the driver´s side behind the driver´s seat to the buckle?There are sensors that detect weight on the seat and in the belt tensioner, hope you can trick the sensors into staying in neutral that way and speed up your recovery process! Wheel lift down would help with the counter balance issue.
