The composer is Emmy award winning Mark Willott from the UK. Someone at the AFL pulled some strings finding him! His works are brilliant. Got a real Hans Zimmer epic build to them.

Oh boy the excitement of a close 3 quarter time on a sunny 2015 Sunday afternoon, this is do or die, finals or not... 10 seconds left of the fourth quarter, your team is 2 points behind, the debutant belts the ball into the attacking 50, it hits the best forwards chest, and he lines up 45 meters out, after the siren... He boots it, looking like it’s going to be the post, but it curves straight into a goal to win by 5 points. 15 minutes later you hear this glorious song and then the broadcast ends.
This is Truly a Magnificent Masterpiece. Sends shivers down my Spine. Proud to be a Melburnian. Composed, Conducted and Orchestrated to absolute perfection. Well done to everyone who participated and made it what it is. Bravo!
This just gives us a prelude to the footy drama that unfolds….genius Fox Footy……love this tune….love this game….I am the number one English fan of the Hawks on my island of Jersey……what a ripper

It's halftime in the battle of Adelaide, Crows up 30 to 11. Can PA Power through and take the lead? Can the Crows tie the series at 25? Things to think about whilst listening this amazing theme. Thinking about my SA friends as I watch the game in NY.
@@janeryan8499 The original piece (ie. the bit that starts from 0:57) is by the wonderful Mark Willott. However the introduction was written by Nicholas Buc, who also arranged/orchestrated the piece for this particular version by the MSO.
@@noz6331 Thanks for the link but I was looking for a 100% instrumental version (no lyrics sung) of the song. Hopefully this is not Fox Footy internal exclusive. The lyric version can be found on Spotify too.
