I remember Fox Kids Countdown used to be on 1490am here until they changed from music to sports. It then got transferred to 93.7 KRQ FM and was always on Sunday mornings. Sadly enough, like you said, after the end of the Fox Kids lineup, it became Fox All Access and it was pretty ordinary. When it was Fox Kids Countdown, it was really fun to listen to. I was really hoping Kids’ WB! would do a countdown like Fox Kids Countdown but sadly it never happened. They did kind of do that with the Kids’ WB! Top Toon Tunes and then did a Radio Kids’ WB! station on AOL but that and The WB Radio on AOL both ended and were never brought back once the kids shows left weekdays and also when The CW formed.

I've NEVER had the 'Fox Kids Coutdown' in my area. None of the local stations ever aired it, and if they did, it must've been buried deep in the times lots where people are still a sleep. If anything, the only 'countdown' shows I had growing up were from Rick Dees, Casey Kasem, Scott Shannon, and maybe Dick Clark.

I didn't know they had a radio station. I was into Radio Disney's radio station mainly because it was advertised more and my aunt would automatically go to that station before dropping me off to school. 620 AM was the dial number. Dang. I still remember the first song I heard on that station: Dreamstreet by Dreamstreet. If I did have this radio station, I might have been just as obsessed. I can understand concerns about the advertising but I have heard many religious groups peddle books on their stations so I see this as hypocrisy. Maybe it's more about kids not knowing any better I don't know. Thanks for this info and looking forward to more! ^_^

I'm not sure if we got this show in my area: I never remembered to turn on the radio and look for it.

Where I lived at the time is was aired right before Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 on the same station on the same day. In fact I wanted Chris Leary to be replaced with Casey Kasem. Since even as cub I though American Top 40 was the better show. That may be why American Top 40 runs in reruns today and this show doesn't.
