You. Are. Killing. Me. 😂 Thx for posting, your video making me ultra nostalgic. I just now posted up old VHS of my 1989 (bought new!)... and now I am browsing RU-vid wishing so BAD that I still had it. Keep having fun man!
Yeah,….he got me too My first car was a ‘79 Mustang 5.0 with a whopping 140 hp but I loved that car and had to get rid of it when the kids came, but now as a 60 year old,
New channel name, new channel direction. Its all good.... as long as you don't mind me pestering you about ecm swaps on an 83 crossfire T/A every now and then....lol Good to see you have a fresh passion. Good luck with your future endeavours.
Bought an 89 Mustang 5.0 LX new in 1989....The GT interior was standard on the LX 5.0...First year for that option.... Also, your rims are incorrect, you should have the rotary style rims. Sold my car in the late 90s, sorry I didn't keep it. Mine had the same interior as this car but had a sunroof...apparently, they only made like 6000 of the LX 5.0s in 89....the sunroof model was around 1200 in the LX 5.0... 88 was the last year for T-TOPS...what you have is a rare bird.... I am purist so I hope you keep it fairly stock.... enjoy.
I’m well aware of everything you said, from the interior to the wheels. The car had 10-holes on it when I got it, and I put the Ponys on it, because that’s what I like. The car was originally an AOD car 🤮, and I put the stick in it. I also put the AFR heads on it, I did the Trick Flow cam and manifold, the headers, the exhaust, the 3.73s, the aftermarket radiator, deleted all of the smog garbage, etc. There were 24,734 5.0 LX hatchbacks (P41E) made in 1989, and my 89 is 1 of 1,799 produced in bright Regatta Blue (7H). I made the car the way I want it. I am NOT a purist. Those days ended for me when I stopped restoring late 60s Mopars.
