I pulled the trigger and signed up to be a vendor at my first frag swap! In this 3 part series I'm going to show you how I prep for the SLASH Club Frag Swap on March 7th, 2020. In this video I frag up some zoanthids!
I would LOVE any tips and tricks you may have if you've ever been a vendor at a swap or show. Go easy on me, this is my first time! Please comment below.

have you ever fragged zoas and they lost color after? on the new frag/ or the colony you cut from. i have ran into this problem and wondering what causes it. I have made lots of successful frags, but once and i while i cut one and after it heals a lot of the color is gone

Yeah, that happens from time to time. It seems like for me, it's always the more expensive stuff. I fragged the Little Shops and they didn't look awesome for 6 months or so.

The rest of the basement is just a living room. There is a guest room and a playroom downstairs. I kinda want to turn one of those rooms into the reef studio. Someday!

@@angryowlaquariums40 Yep! When we moved in 2018, the owner let me set up the tank before we closed. The tile downstairs seemed like the safest on such a tight schedule. Looking to do a big overhaul at some point. The aesthetics aren't super awesome right now...cardboard in the windows...but I didn't want to wait until everything was "just right" to start making content. Plus it will be fun to take everyone on the ride!

Whenever I use "mini-colony" you get a shoutout...and a ding. I should add a sfx. 😆

Good luck at your swap. Looking forward to seeing how this works out for you. I've been debating setting up a Frag tank to help resurrect my display tank. Well and to just try my hand at it. :)

Water clarity is a must! Also make sure you have a good heater! Last swap I went the heater was fault and water got to 60° overnight. Only brought zoas and nothing opened :(

That is probably my biggest worry!! I don't really want to buy a new heater but I know it has to be reliable. What heater do you use?
