I own Pas Ce Soir, Gris Charnel and Velvet Tonka. I had a couple of samples of RS, but I wasn’t a big fan. I sampled again last week and oh my the dry down!!! I couldn’t stop sniffing my wrists. It’s a beautiful scent. Lovely review Abby.💕
I’m completely with you on not immediately loving Rouge Smoking. It took me some time to warm up to it and I kept thinking I must be missing something! Love your reviews so much Abby. I’ve gotten a new level of appreciation for fragrance from listening to you and I have discovered some incredible finds from your recommendations. I adore vanilla as a note and many of your favorites seem to fall in line with my top picks too. Thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Oh my goodness, which one do I try first??? I was thinking the Pas Ce Soir would be a safe bet! You made every fragrance sound so good and yet the ones that are not your cup of tea, did not sound negative, just not your vibe!! Thank you for sharing this with us because I can honestly say that your description of a fragrance I can almost instantly tell if it is one for me. Have a great weekend!! Love and Hugs!!
Thank you Tanya!! I am so happy you are enjoying these fragrance videos and truly- I find doing this videos a bit hard because fragrance is so hard to describe and so individual-- BUT I love it so much that I also feel the need to share!!! SO I am glad to know that you are finding these helpful. Keep me posted on what you decide to try and thank you for all the support- ALWAYS!!! Love and hugs right back to you!! xoxo
I must admit I also fell down the rabbit hole of BDK. I love them so much! So far in the last month I’ve added Rouge smoking, Gris Charnel and Pas Ce Soir to my collection. I’m also very intrigued by creme de Cuir and Tabac Rose. I’d love to see you review the rest of the line
Girl Chanel should hire you to be the face for their makeup! Your skin looks so glowy and perfect. If they put you in their ads, it would be a marketing move they’d never regret because if people could look as beautiful as you, they’d buy every product!
I love how you incorporate fragrance into your videos. I especially love these ‘overviews’. We have just entered Autumn where I am so I’m looking for some new fragrances and you have been so helpful guiding my purchases!!
Oh yay!!! I just love fragrance but don't really feel qualified to just have a fragrance channel- LOL! Plus- I love all the beauty stuff! BUT I am so happy that you enjoy my reviews and that they have been helpful! That is the key!!! xoxo
Hi Abby! Terrific video Abby! I have Pas Cle Soir and Gris Charnel. Interesting you initially didn’t care for Rouge Smoking, neither did I. Bisma picked up Wood Jasmine recently so I need to ask her what she thought about it. I was super curious about that one. Please let us know what you think of the rest if you pick up the samples! Loving the fragrance videos! ❤️
Thank you Randi!! AND yes, I want Wood Jasmine! Bisma loves it!! I am going to get a sample and that will probably be my next one! Woo hoo!! I am so happy you are loving these fragrance videos. xoxo
I really enjoyed this video. I just purchased Pas Ce Soir this evening when I happened to see your video. It was very thorough and I appreciate how you walked through the notes and the reasons why you liked each of them (or no). I remember your makeup videos and will be sure to look for more of your fragrance videos as well. With COVID-19 I turned to fragrances after many decades and with the lockdown I bought less makeup.
I love my BDK! I have 4 and love them all but my personal ranking would be 1. Pas Ce Soir 2. Smoking Rouge 3. Tubereuse Imperiale and 4. Gris Charnel. I'm definitely interested in the Citrus Riviera and Sel D'Argent. Great video Abby!
Hi Abby, I am new to your channel but I am loving it! I am definitely intrigued by the BDK line and will check it out! I am a fragrance lover and I have a modest collection, but it is growing ; ) Thank you for the recommendations on each of your videos, so far, I have acquired Penhaligon’s Changing Constance, Van Cleef & Arpels Orchidée Vanille, Kilian Angels Share, Maison Francis Kurkdjian Gentle Fluidity and Guerlain Gourmand Coquin! I love these fragrances and my next purchase is going to be Malachite Rouge by Armani, a couple of BDK and last but not least, Minuit et Demi by Fragrance Du Bois! And it’s all thanks to you!! Have a wonderful weekend!!🌟🌟 PS: One scent I am interested in is also Bois Doré by Van Cleef & Arpels. Would you, by any chance own it? And if yes, would you include it in one of your videos? Thank you again! You are my go to for fragrance knowledge!!
Ooo Abby, that was a deep rabbit hole :-D Discovering BDK through you and some new words from Abbictionary - "oomphness" "coziness" "butteriness" "earthiness" "spiciness" "sparkliness",cherryness" "powderyness"...And you carried that peasant blouse well with the warm memories eye look! For the BB look I would recommend a light brown/beige flowery blouse/top!
LOL!!!! That made me laugh so hard! I swear.... describing fragrance is truly hard and I hate it when I say a fragrance is beautiful because what does that mean... BUT it really is a BEAUTIFUL line. AND I filmed the Burberry today - but work a pretty silk pink blouse.... so I will have to do another LOOK in the brown beige flowery top!!! BUT I am ON IT!! SO excited for SPRING!!! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Hey Abby, glad you took it in good humour! I really love the way you describe fragrance as i have said before. And language is meant to be creative, so bring it on!!! Was a bit too late to suggest the attire for the BB look, but pretty silk pink sounds just fine! No worries...am sure you will carry it well too XO
Hi Abby I loved your collection. i went to the city and tried 4 of these i really dont like Gris Charnel it smells like neosporin or viks like a menthol smell which i couldnt stand. the Pa ce soir was a bit too sharp. i ended up buying rouge smoking lovely cold weather fragrance really looking forward to spraying it its still a bit too warm here and im excited such a lovely chic brand im glad i got
I have Gris charnel, think it’s the best fig perfume i currently have. I’m interested in Pas ce soir and got a sample but then it doesn’t last on my skin.. like only 3 hours. From my Tubereuse Imperiale sample, it smells like rich lady! I never like jasmine smell, that FM carnal flower was one of those heavy jasmine perfume i can’t put on but surprisingly I don’t mind TI. I thought I wouldn’t like perfume like Tabac rose but I was wrong. It smell really good! As for rouge smoking, it reminds me of mmm by the fireplace but less smokey.. which is much more wearable. Lastly, bouquet de hongrie is quite common floral fruity perfume and if compared to Chance tendre or Miss Dior blooming bouquet, I feel miss Dior is a lighter, fresher choice while Chance tendre has a nicer dry down.
Oh my the rabbit hole. Sounds like the one I am in with Fragrance Du Bois. I shouldn't haven't ordered the samples. BDK, interesting. I've never heard of that parfum. I was looking at what all Beverly Hills Perfumery has on their website today. They carry BDK along with many others.
Hello Tim! I love Fragrance Du Bois and yes, that is a rabbit hole!! AND BDK is truly and interesting and beautiful line. I will have to check out the Beverly Hills Perfumery! Thank you for watching. xoxo
Oh wow! I am SO excited for this video!! Have paused to make myself a cup of tea and then will indulge. I can hear my wallet wimpering in the corner... The damage could potentially be huge.
Abby, the "Ambre" in Dior Ambre Nuit is pronounced UMM-BRAY ☺️ Your descriptions are wonderful by the way. Am looking forward to your future Fragrance Friday videos.
I am very interested in Pas Ce Soir and Bouquet de Hongrie. I have TF Lost Cherry and Tabasco Vanille and Creed Aventus for her. Which one do you recommend?
Hello Yoko!! I would say Pas Ce Soir!! Bouquet de Hongrie- is also a no-brainer but I would be worried it would be too generic.... I don't mean that in a bad way! I would totally buy a big bottle of it. BUT I think Pas Ce Soir is more interesting. I hope this helps! xoxo
If No. 5 had an older sister, it would be French Bouquet! Not for a young girl. At first blush you think whoa, too much. Patience. My favorite of the line and I have five.
I get a good 8 hours of wear from Pas Ce Soir! I find it to soften a bit by the end of the day but can still smell it on my wrist and such. I hope this helps. xoxo
