François Chauvon (attivo tra il 1700 circa e il 1740), è stato un compositore francese.
Tutto quello che si conosce di lui è quanto riporta nella prefazione a "Tibiades - Nouveau genre de pièces pour la flûte, et le hautbois, avec quelques sonates pour le violon", dedicate a François Couperin, in cui afferma di essere stato suo allievo, e che pubblicò raccolte di composizioni per voce e
per altri strumenti quali il flauto traversiere e l'oboe.

All that is known about him is what he reports in the preface to "Tibiades - Nouveau genre de pièces pour la flute, et le hautbois, avec quellques sonates pour le violon", dedicated to François Couperin, in
which he states that he was his student, and who published collections of compositions for voice and
for other instruments such as the flute and the oboe.
