OMG!!! I just installed a RU-vid music app (YTube) and when I put in Disco, THIS showed up! How have I never heard this version? I LOVE France Joli...and she still has that amazing voice that I remember so well. When I saw her in NY way back when, she was a stunning young lady...and she still is. I became hooked on disco and especially France Joli. Compared to today's pop music sung by artists who has zero talent and songs that promote violence and sex, her talent is much better. Not only her, but other artists from that era.

When "Come To Me" first came out in 1977, I couldn't believe that her career didn't sky-rocket to the Top of the Universe, thus making her a household word...Those razor-sharp and immistakably one-of-a-kind vocals were surely to be the best invention since the wheel. She is TRULY a gift to us all and definitely one of my TOP TEN favorite singers.
I'm always struck by how young she is. Most disco divas are in their 60s. At 51 France still a baby. Even so, her voice after all these years (35!!!!) is incredible. She clearly has impeccable technique and takes excellent care of her instrument.
Just got back from P-Town. Had the honor of meeting her and heard this song for the very first time. She is an amazing wonderful good hearted person. The reception that she got in P-Town totally blew her away. She definitely hopes this will kick start her career. What a set of Pipes on this girl!!! AMAAAAAZING!!!!!!

Wow! Last year I became interested in disco after listening to your biggest hit "Come To Me". The way you sing sounds so lovely that I listen to your entire album almost every day. Compared to today's dance artists, whom some of them I know having no talent and whose lyrics are not considered safe to listen to, you, along with the other artists from the classic dance era of the '70s and '80s makes me want to enjoy dancing to the tunes we all love to hear with positive messages about life and how we share love towards each other. Also, even though I was not around when you became a breakout star upon releasing "Come To Me", your songs from that era can be enjoyed by all generations, young or old. Keep up the good work France! :-)
