Yay Gene Simmons on the interview with Dan Rather!!!! Right on!!!! I am a second generation immigrant. Dad was a barber, steel mill town, WWII vet. Husband a Vietnam vet Both gone now. My dad didn't want to speak Czech like his mom. Only in the house. He wanted to speak English because of being an American!!
One of the best Gene Simmons interviews ever. I love this!! KISS rules forever. I love this band , the superheroes of my lifetime. (As well as Ozzy and Black Sabbath). I am so excited to see the new tour, and I have loved KISS all of my life, I think more than just about any person on this planet. In my years growing up since 1980, when I got my first Alive 2 album, I have had the pleasure of seeing KISS live 26 times, several times during the 80's and 90's non make up era, as well as non make up acoustic , five times during the reunion 1996-2000 era, 15 times with the current line up 2001-2018, as well as meeting KISS in 1995 on the Convention Tour, and seeing KISS in the 2nd row center in 2017 at the Chicago Open Air. My merchandise collection is pretty huge. I love the new costumes and can't wait to see the new stageshow!!!! The influence KISS has had on my band Witchcross from Chicago,IL(we have been together 25 years and made 4 albums, our current album being 2018's "Cauldron On Satan's Shadow". I have made a total of 6 other albums with my other bands, Ravensthorn-3 albums, Nocturnal Doom-1 album and Shadowlord-2 albums). KISS has been monumental, and the happiness the music has brought my entire life, is astronomical. I love all of the lines ups and albums. And my life of musicianship I owe to my huge KISS influence.(as well as Ozzy and Sabbath).
All kids play aside, the members from Kiss have a lot to talk about the future of the band however in my opinion they really do not need to go on tour and that being said, Gene and Paul should bring Ace and Peter or pay them for the entire end of the road tour sadly if they make a wrong decision. I will not attend the show for one reason. The greatest show on earth was with all four original members period the end.

gene is so right.he mirrors exactly what i'm personally thinkin.....america is the best place to succeed at anything you want.america is providing endless chances to becomes who you want,to achieves your dreams.and simmons is the best example of that.

KISS is obviously linked to the US military complex, since 2005. I won't spend a dime in them anymore, even if I've already been a great fan during Farewell Tour era and even afterwards. Good luck for Bruce Kullick's touring though. Impresive 1985-95 songs being played live. King of the Mountain was a song a liked a lot back then, among others. But yeah, why not helping people...However, encouraging kills anywhere for baksters and other$ just breaks my fun.

"Two to three years..maybe longer" This ain't a farewell tour, it's KISS just trying to be as gimicky as possible to drain every last possible cent they can from the fans before they face the fact they've finally run their course and the show is over no matter what. Going out with dignity my arse. But what the hell was that awesome Gene bust in the display case? Must be a prototype that never saw the light of day ;(
Why not do charity work the rest of your life Geno, help people since you have more money that can be spent by your entire family tree in a lifetime? Why not, because you have a passion to make more and more money. You love the military so much, why not wake up every day and do charity work that involves helping the military in some way?

@@marcf8541 Better than not doing anything at all...politicians, who are high paid and have free health care for themselves and family for life, can afford to, as well. But I don't see any of them giving a lot of money to the military. If at all.
