This breakup totally came out of nowhere too. Part of me thinks he was trying to do exactly what Ali did in the previous season. make it really far, quit close to the end, and then become the Bachelor. Except Ali's work gave her an ultimatum, and Frank had to come up with a random excuse about his ex. All season he acted borderline obsessed with Ali and then dumps her? Ali even said in a recent interview that in this moment, Frank was her pick to win the season.
