I know I stand in line Until you think you have the time To spend an evening with me And if we go some place to dance I know that there's a chance You won't be leaving with me Then afterwards we drop into a quiet little place And have a drink or two And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" I can see it in your eyes That you despise the same old lies You heard the night before And though it's just a line to you For me it's true And never seemed so right before I practice every day To find some clever lines to say To make the meaning come true But then I think I'll wait Until the evening gets late And I'm alone with you The time is right, your perfume fills my head The stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" The time is right, your perfume fills my head The stars get red, and, oh, the night's so blue And then I go and spoil it all By saying somethin' stupid like, "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" "I love you" Source: LyricFind Songwriters: Carson Parks

Thanks Gerard. I extracted his voice from that version and incorporated it into this mix. This was quite a complicated remix to make, but I was determined to get the vocals in stereo !
I'll be honest I'm not a fan of Frank Sinatra but this duet with Daughter Nancy is a beautiful song and their harmonies work really well together, it certainly deserved to be a No 1 hit which of course it was back in '67. A great mix indeed. Thank you Pat. 👏
Very nice cover of the original by the husband & wife team of Carson & Gaile. Nancy Sinatra was quite talented and, of course, beautiful. It seems like it was her choice to recede from her career by the '70s. It's a pity she didn't continue to sing and record. Thanks, Dimitris.
Pat, your remix really brings their vocals into the forefront, terrific job. I really enjoy your mono to stereo remixes. When I hear traditionally monaural songs you remix into stereo I have an eargasm😀
I am a fan of Frank Sinatra and I am a fan Of Nancy Sinatra, so I'm very pleased to hear both of them singing in such a fantastic quality. By the way, the original is - in my humble opinion - way better than Robbie Williams and Nicole Kidman's version.
awesome...what a shame recording quality went downhill from the stunning quality it first was...when you listen to the first stereo albums of Dean Martin or Johnny Mathis can you remix Frank doing his iconic "strangers in the night" ?
Was never a fan of Frank Sinatra, the singer or the man. Too many alleged Mafia connections (you can still find alleged photographs of him with Mafioso members). I do quite like Nancy though and thought you had done 'These Boots........... not yet but you have done a couple of her other songs. This song has been well covered, especially by Country singers and a good remix here. Cheers and thanks!
