This was the noon siren test for Franklin County and City of Dublin. The first few seconds you hear 2 Franklin County WPS 4004 sirens. Then after the lady talks its Dublin's Omni-Directional siren. Its a 5 cell im not sure the name after that. Also sorry about my friend talking in the background.

I used to have an audio recording of one of Dublin's 2750s which ran very similar to this one only it was higher pitched.

Dublin's sirens are in a seperate system from the rest of the county's sirens, so the county and Dublin test their sirens different ways.

Gotcha. I didn't see this one on the map I had so I never knew it was there. It also sounds like the closest county siren (by Hilliard-Davidson I think) might be an older 4004. It has the really quick windup and a really slow wind down like a low pitched 3016.

I love Dublin's siren's but I wish they would sound for 30 seconds instead of 5. The wail tone by Whelen and the Attack tone are my favorite. Dublin's sirens are great

I know there is a 4004 just a half mile away at the Hilliard Parks and Rec park. I hear it every Wednesday and see it. Theres the one at Davidson, also I found out and saw it over there in brown township if you take scioto darby creek rd west a mile before u hit walker rd theres a 4004.

Yep 5 Second wail or noon test. I've seen literature with both names but they're both really the same thing.

Nice job! That siren would be a WPS-2805, which (if I recall correctly) is what most of Dublin's system is made up of.
