Guys, I just stumbled on your channel, and want you to know i love it. I'm actually watching your icw trip from New York to Florida and then I'll get back into all your other videos. I'm a southern California old timer and I am so interested in the differences between boating in coastal southern California vs the east coast that I see here. It's fascinating. Your channel is really well done and super fun to watch. This is gonna divert my attention away from the south pacific sailing channels for sure. I am curious about fuel burn though. You're getting phenomenal burn rates. I have same motors in a lighter boat and have had numerous other boats with 454s. How in the heck are you getting miles per gallon vs gallons per mile.? I've never gotten better than 1.2 gallons per mile and if I got 1/1, it would be a miracle. Looking forward to binging your entire library.

Stupid question, I’m considering moving down to FL. Can you just jump off your boat and swim in those water ways or will you get attacked by an alligator or snakes. I see in the Miami marina there are crocs. Up north we don’t really have to worry about those issues. Maybe the occasional shark nibble.

How much is it to go trough the lock ?

Red for the starboard engine, and vice versa?
