@meskeliuke The setting is from The Merry Widow (Act 3), but the music is from The Count of Luxembourg. This is San Francisco Opera's production. The director Lotfi Mansouri uses music also from Lehar in this Act 3 ballet quite suitably.
This dance sequence looks the same as in the Australian production of The Merry Widow with Joan Sutherland. It was in the last act with two pieces of music from The Count of Luxemburg and Paganini woven in.
Beautiful costumes (the "Merry Widow" hats are amazing!) and excellent dancing to Lehar's music - what could be better? But which company is performing?
