I've always told people "If you want to see the origins of trap music, you have to take it back to Miami Bass" Even though Miami Bass got its whole thing from NY records, Miami, ATL and Jacksonville is really where that Roland 808 sound was perfected

It's funny yell brought up city girls because they are definitely bounce but since they probably don't write their own music they probably don't know what they're making despite being from Miami

I live up north near Milwaukee so people up here will never understand how that bass music just hits different on Florida soil
