Probably one of the greatest trumpet solos ever put to wax. Freddie had this way of slotting into whatever recording he was on and nailing the vibe.

Absolutely love the way you walk through this. So many transcriptions have no breakdown, and I don't have the chops (yet) to really get under them. Or the breakdowns are so heavy-duty on the theory that I'm left scratching my super locrian head. You dig in but make it more about the music and the learning opportunity. Hope you do more of these!
