If the Police hadn't stated that they didn't proceed with a prosecution because it wasn't in the public interest,I would agree with you.I didn't know or meet him, so I am not in a position to say he was or wasn't guilty of anything.If you knew him inside out and was with him 24/7,you could defend him with confidence,but you weren't. Liking or loving a celebrity makes some people irrationality.You are not in a position to defend or condemn him.

Yes, It's a tragedy what happened to the wonderful Freddie Starr. He obviously had a lot of trauma as a child with his vile Father. So perhaps depression was always there behind the laughter. I guess he just couldn't get himself together after being tortured for many months with these false accusations. There should have been an public apology given to him and all the others who were wrongly accused. Whatever happened to the Justice System.? Innocent before being proven guilty.? Mud unfortunately always sticks.
