Exactly! It's clearly a lie in this case. And then she said she is sick of the lies. Well, not when your the one perpetrating them clearly. Although he's dead now, I can't stand this man personally, but he obviously knew the other fellow, knew a bit more of the background, and felt the need to stick up for him. And he also has a point, in that women tend to be very vindictive when relationships breakdown, whereas men tend to move on far more quickly. And I thought Titchmarsh handled it badly. Because, despite his rude and repugnant nature, the woman was practically hitting him. So, in the eyes of Titchmarsh, some ill judged words from a man are worse than physical assault on a man by a woman! So, if he was going to evict one, then he should have evicted them both.

Actually she handled it pretty well. She goaded him in to personally abusing her, knowing he would do that and make himself look bad. That's how most women operate. They set you up for a fall

John's always been a straight talker. Problem here is that he was too straight to the point which only came across as rude. Rather than making my own assumptions on his character as I do not know the guy, I know that John Francome who does know him thinks that he is actually a pretty genuine bloke.

John has always been a plain talker and at times, he uses crude language and humour to convey his thoughts. Not to mention, he has an ostentatious personality, extremely eccentric, traditionalist, with rural conservative values and coupled with his self opinionated perspective on life, he appears to many as arrogant and narcissistic, and a male chauvinist bigot. When you look past his bravado, he's just a down to Earth everyday decent guy. The Channel 4 bosses thought he gave the station a bad image the fact he's not very PC, but he was loved by his audience. It's a real shame to see him looking frail and weak these days. Channel 4 racing has never been the same ever since they dropped him.

I absolutely loath McCririck with a passion, he's a dinosaur of the 1st order. BUT, in this instance, notwithstanding the insults he directed at Tarrant's ex, he raised some valid points. She felt it was her right to defend/promote her book about life with Tarrant because 'he started it'. Well we all know 2 wrongs don't make a right, she could've chosen to maintain a dignified silence. But no she just had to get out there and air her dirty laundry letting everyone know what a cruel, nasty man her ex was.And yet she seemed surprised when not everyone sided with her! Oh and there's Gloria-Woe-Is-Me- Hunniford who's sole purpose to being on TV is to let us know what a very good friend to Cliff Richard she is, and how grief struck she was when her daughter died.
Why does Alan Titchmarsh get on TV? No charisma, face for radio, would be more at home sipping a cup of tea and gossiping with the old dears down at the bingo.
