Kryss is a simple, beginner level triangle shawl pattern that is totally customizable. We made it in 3 skeins of our shimmering and dreamy Oasis Fingering yarn but you can use a variegated color or make the whole thing in a solid - you choose!

I love your videos. You're so.... emcouraging. I love the pinking twitch that points to your point. You use all your fingers, like a pianist or someone. You really help me feel I can do this. Thank you also for making full written patterns available, because, naturally, the entire project on step-by-step would take hours to watch and even more to record. Your so wonderful Chandi! Thank you for the beginner crochet shawl ❤️ It is very easy to follow for someone like me who is rusty with my crochet skills. Being a knitter for years and always loved the fabric I get by doing so. I always thought crochet was only good for granny squares and 60’s and 70’s weird jackets or blankets 😂 My grandma taught me how to crochet when I was 8 and it was only Tunisian stitch or blanket stitch (?) Then my mom taught me how to knit and I never looked back, until recently. Again, thank you and sorry for my tangent... I am making this shawl with your Oasis fingering in colors Au Le and Farm Egg and I find it very repetitive and fun.

Hi Sandy. Love this pattern and the way it drapes so beautifully. I’m using such a lovely Elle tropical in a ‘barbuda’ gorgeous mix colours. Can’t wait to see the final product. Love this shawl. Can I use Hobbi Cotton Kings Twirls 100% cotton yarn for this shawl. It won't have the sheen but has a variegated yarn from cream to dark turquoise. It probably won't drape the same. At the end of the shawl how many stitches did you have?

Hugs to you! With this shawl you start small and it keeps getting bigger. So, you shouldn't have to decrease the shawl because it will keep growing. I hope this helps! 💕💕
