Every single conspiracy theory ever made "lines up with reality" if you only present the facts that support the theory. Some are more plausible of course, because their foundation is more reasonable, or the theory involves more individual parts that make the whole look stronger. But they all share the fact that they're internally consistent, and only fall apart when you look at all the facts that are left out.

I just watched it. Whats so wrong in testing critical thinking? Isn't every criticism of conspiracy theory, religious believe, political or economy bullshit require critical thinking? So, a little exercise could be helpful.

I thought about this in the previous episode. He mentioned things like a meteor hitting the southern part of Greenland, when just a few minutes of research shows that it actually struck as far north on Greenland as you can get, as well as saying that pictures of empty streets were of the Vatican when the man who made the original video on the pictures Greg showcased claimed that they were of St. Petersburg. All in all, I can't tell if those were honest mistakes or if he's trying to goof us. Despite all that, I love entertaining ideas such as this.

That's 100% absolutely insane either way. A famous quote from the closing statements of a judge in one of these (many) show trials: "The truth is no defense."

That's kinda the problem, I spent the better part of a decade researching 9-11, I could bring up some facts that would probably make you think twice about the whole event, but dose it matter what I say to you? I'm not part of your "in-group", and your too lazy to actually really look at the evidence. Far easier to call me a cook and dismiss everything I have to say because the conclusions might be too inconvenient.

Cassidy, it's just him looking into stuff and figuring out a way to swing everything together since it's stuff a lot of people don't know about to begin with. Some of it is a bit of misinformation, or very very suspicious claims like how the last picture was about fireworks, yet he spun it into the lightning and stuff. He doesn't actually believe the theories in their most tinfoil places, but he does see how in theory it could fit together pretty nicely. It's fun to play for the other-side once in a while, y'know?

I'm certainly not claiming that everything he said is true, but the description of harvesting electricity from the atmosphere is true; Tesla's ideas and technology was so far ahead of his time, we haven't caught up yet. He was instrumental in the technology we use today. The fact is, the electric potential between ground and our ionosphere is in the thousands of volts, and virtually unlimited amps. Any device that collects that energy would be an 'energy harvester', and not the crackpot claim of a 'free energy device'. The device is technologically possible, though feasible is a question that hasn't been answered, that I know of.
