Top shelf! 1:14-1:20 is beautiful. Love the RC copter shots, so stoked those are infiltrating freebord videos! Never gets old watching Hoppe destroy Lombard. Good/fun song. All around winner.

Different concept. These boards ride like snowboards and keep your feet locked in. They have two extra wheels under the board to achieve this. Longboards are more like big skateboards (for lack of a better description) and keep your feet on with griptape/concave/etc.

the boards downfall is it is strapped so you cant gain speed on flat surface, have you guys thought about momentum to speed yourself up and you can stop by putting pressure on both toes or heals like you would with a snowboard?

it is nothing like longboarding, with the same respect that longboarding is nothing like snowboarding. longboards dont have bindings, the stance is completly different, on a longboard your body will face forward a lot more and the trucks are much narrower and set much softer. Also good luck cruising on one of these, downhill only. It's like comparing a vw beetle to a porsche.

You can't possibly say it's nothing like longboarding.. Longboarding uses the same trucks, and generally the same shape and length of what freeboards use. The only difference is the bindings, and swivel axles.

Of course a freebord is easy to slide. THAT IS WHAT IT IS DESIGNED TO DO. My SNOWBOARD slides nice and easy too. I don't understand why it is so difficult for people to realize that freebording is not a longboard but a snowboard simulator. Just think about the slogan "snowboard the streets". I guarantee that stand up slides on my longboard feel nothing like snowboarding.
