Thanks so much. They are a great crew with a great reach promoting RC in a great way. Love when we can get them involved. Figured something like this would be a great next step for anyone starting out with an FT kit.
Motion RC no you deserve the gratitude. Love your videos, love your products as well as your customer service. In a time of when one would expect that to be the norm, you're a cut above the rest👍👍
have one and is all set for the first touch of the air. My third Jet. Have F15, F16, Excited!!!!! Only watch your channel for a good feel of what I am interested in.
No, you don't want to start with this one, nor and EDF jet for that matter. You want to start with a trainer aircraft, something slower that can glide. Go to motionrc.com and check our beginner aircraft options to get a better idea.
GBLynden's RC that's a good question that I don't know the answer to. I always say if you don't think it's fast enough all you need to do is fly it lower and closer lol
Point a camera at the plane and move the controls so people can see how they move. Explain how the arrangement can provide roll, pitch and yaw control.
Gregg Eshelman pretty sure most people are getting it. All control surfaces move the same. Ailerons move like elevator in the pitch as well as roll. Elevator moves like ailerons in the roll axis as well as pitch. Left turn input yields an upward deflected left aileron as well as the left half of the horizontal being deflected upwards. There is no yaw control out of the box. The manual and the build video do a good job at showing the setup.
This EDF does the worst loop, nasty. Best time to fly is late in the day and see it as a shadow in the sky. At around 2pm and lots of clouds and it WILL dissappear in the sky. Its a very very small plane and blends w the sky canvas. I track it by instinct as an object moving in the sky and direction it takes. Open about 12mm the rear intakes, it will help a lot on thrust. I do like how easy it is to land on grass and almost hover coming in. Have CG a little bit tail heavy.
I got this jet and I finally got the throttle to work and I flew it and it just started spinning like crazy...now...of course...it's in pieces. There goes my saved up money
I have been buying jets from you guys for the last two years. I love everything about your company and the people you have working for you. I would love you guys to think about an F 100 super sabre. Full size with your 80mm set up. I have contemplated buying the sabre you have on your site 80mm version. Just my luck you guys would announce the release of a big super sabre right after. Please check out my channel Dave's Rc. I do flight reviews on all motion rc planes. From one veteran to another. Please let's get a F 100 for all of those guys in nam. I would even help design the aircraft.
