The video is great, nice clarity. I slogged through the snow in my 43 years on the railroad and don't miss it. Keep a pair of gloves in your vehicle so you will have a pair on hand. Be careful out there and don't take any unnecessary risks to make a video. Merry Christmas to you and the family. All Michigan is in a blizzard. Like you, they forecasted up to 32”! We only got 3” to 6”, a typical SE Mich. snow fall but the winds are up and the temperatures are way down. Wishing you and yours a very Merry Christmas.

I live in Christmas by Munising right on M28. Yesterday you could see up to 75 yards down the road at times 0 feet they didn't even close M28 this time. Driveway blew shut as fast as you opened it. Just another storm in the U.P. A train driving through town, cool.

It's great that it's 9° there. Here in North Idaho yesterday morning it was -9°. Finally got up to 2° late afternoon then quickly back down below 0. Today it was a little warmer. Got all the way up to 4°. Weather people were predicting wind chills of -20 to -30. Fortunately we did not get heavy winds. The snow makes everything look fresh and clean but it's a bugger when the driveway needs plowing. Fortunately hubby takes care of that chore! Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas!!

AAhh!😊 I haven’t heard that since I left Houghton-Hancock, Michigan in the UP! I love the sound. Then the McKenzie Brothers on Saturday Night Live immortalized that sound. As a little girl I watched the 🚂 Choo-Choo Trains go bye. Back then they were pulled by a Choo-Choo 🚂 Train . Rightfully so because that is the sound of a choo-choo🚂. I always love the sound of the bell. An actual bell🔔 “Cling-Cling-Cling”. As a teenager, when I would hear the trains go by through my upstairs bedroom window, the song, Trains And Boats And Planes sung by Dionne Warwick, was very popular, and I always wondered where the train was going. Many years later, when I moved back home in my early 40s, I heard the memorable train again! I was on the Rotary Dial Telephone with a Professor friend of mine who was a Psychologist. A train came by and the sound was so ferocious. It sounded like a TORNADO!! Over the Rotary Dial Telephone Professor Jaynes yelled out ” What the hell is that?” 😅🤣 I told him and his response was. “ Jesus! It sounds like you’re in a 📞 Phone Booth at a Train Station. Is that thing coming through your house?” No only across the green grasses leading to the train tracks. I am OK!

Now, you know why you carry an extra pair of sox, they become mittens without a thumb. But they work in a pinch. I did that when I lived in Waltham, MA back in the early '50s. Oops, I'm telling you my age, but so what, I'm 77 and pushing 78. FYI it was 15 degrees here in NW Florida near Fort Walton Beach, Fl. It is only 35 now and is supposed to be going back down lower than last night. I have seen 3 days of ZERO temperature, that was when the county shut down all bridges. We don't have anything for icing on the 9 bridges in the county because it doesn't do it often enough to warrant the expense. Merry Christmas to you and yours.

Hi Jason, This is an excellent train video 📹 and I counted 2 engines and 12 cars. I am glad that you like your new camera 📸. When it gets very cold ❄ in Iron Mountain. Just wear layers of clothes and boots heavy winter coat and gloves and a hat. Once you get home 🏡 and Crank Up The Furnace for Heat 🔥 and plenty of HOT 🔥Coffee ☕.

Hi Jason, On Thursday December 22nd. There will be a Winter Storm Warning ⚠ starting at 7:00pm until Saturday December 24th. On Saturday December 24th. And the Winter Storm Warning ⚠ should end 🔚 about 7:00pm. The Winter Storm Warning ⚠ starts from Omaha,Nebraska and heading to Chicago and Detroit. @@dand3975 I just don't think that would be the same, Some day, I will simply have to make my own. Rutabagas are essential and maybe a bit of lard in the crust. Pat's IGA in Hancock used to make good pasties. I had them years ago when I went to school. Nylund's in Crystal Falls were good too. I think they made Cudighi pasties too. Lawry's in Ishpeming were good. They sold hot Catsup to go with them. Nope, I will have to make my own with mom's recipe. Good suggestion though.
