@@chrisbrezzy1004 bruh, russia can't do a shit. They have no casus beli against Europe, only reconquest one against post-ussr countries. And i'm not going to start at how underdeveloped that country is. China is too restricted by murica, so they can't do anything either. Europe has way scarier enemies than 2 useless blobs.
It would be cool to do the 4 oldest empires. Have Egypt, Indus Valley, China and Mesopotamia but instead of having other countries just have the 4 and see who colonises what
"so it looks like it's japan and china against.. the french and british" c'mon drew, don't leave out estonia, you don't know how much of a military powerhouse they are?
If you’re accurate there’s no West or East Roman Empire, it was one long continuation, and the Ottomans claimed to be the successor (I would say they’re more like to be than the Russians tbh -also there’s a video about who has the best claim on it and I believe it came out to be Spain or smt weird lol)
@@amerashi1111 yes but if we're giving parts of India to france surely it's only fair that france gives a little bit of germany? The map in the thumbnail seems heavily biased towards france since it only gives overlapping territory to france and never the reverse. For some places (e.g france itself due to the angevin empire) this makes sense but elsewhere it's just biased.
11:30 Re: French Texas La Salle established a colony in Texas for France (trying to land near the Mississippi). It lasted a few years (like count on one hand) and then later the US government tried to bullshit Spain into believing it was part of the Louisiana Purchase.
@@Freedmoon44 There was no english territory in France as england was ruled by France for 300 years since 1066. The Normands, Blois & Plantagenêts were French In 911, the Vikings have been defeated by the French king in the battle of Chartres In 912, the treaty of Saint Clair sur Epte created the Duchy of Normandy under the authority of the King of France. In Rollo's baptism, he took the name of Robert who was his godfather. Robert was count of Paris and the Grandfather of Hugues Capet the first Capetian king. As the historian Robert Bates states in his book "Normandy before 1066", Following the Vikings settlement in Normandy, Normands spoke French, intermarrying with local French , converted to Christianity and eventually by 1066 became more French than Viking.
@@lecapetien3223 im not saying otherwise, however as french as the kingdom of england was, its still a kingdom that isnt the french kingdom with territory in France (not in 1066 obv but after Guillaume died...)
@@Freedmoon44 indeed, the official "gov of France" at that time did not controlled england. but i was a kind of colony, like the antique colony of Greece in Southern Italy (ex: Syracuse) and southern France (Nice, Antibes and Marseille)
@@lecapetien3223 The Norman's integrated and intermixed, with the Saxons, just like you are saying that the Vikings did with Local French, therefore, when England occupied Most of France 2 centuries later, that makes those areas of France an English colony, under your Estimation
@@manuelamavizcanavarro9011 mexico is not a war of conquest otherwise the french would have put a french government to run the country instead of an austrian emperor
@@Memesgoo1 What about Spanish Naples,Sicily and Milan? Also, the Spanish had Belgium and Netherlands. Oh boy, what about the Iberian Union when Spain annexed the Portuguese Empire? Lots of overlapping.
Well Both GB and France have owned France, England, and most of New France, and parts of India. So "ALL LAND THEY HAVE EVER CONTROLLED..." isn't really possible Also "They held some of this stuff for a couple of months.." Even if that's true, even that applies to Mexico, which they had mostly occupied for a few years
Have you done one between what the world would look like if it was divided between Portugal and Spain by the conditions of the Treaty of Tordesillas? That would be fun to watch!
And also France had colonies in Brazil at some point and they even founded Rio de Janeiro but he didn't put them in the game because they are pretty much unknown and also they got destroyed by the Portuguese in the end.
@@purpledevilr7463 I mean it doesn’t matter cuz British won anyway with or without those territories. It would be a much less interesting video otherwise
Spain was never part of the French Empire. Napoleon put his brother on the Spanish throne but it was only a political change. Just Catalonia became part of the French Empire the rest of Spain no.
British and French have been fighting each other for over 1000 years. That explained the numbers of victories Wars between 🇬🇧 and 🇫🇷 Two Greatest Empires 🟥🟦 France : 1115 battles won United Kingdom : 1105 battles won Just imagine if they unify. God save the Queen of UK 👑👑👑 God save the King of France ⚜️⚜️⚜️ Fun fact : New Orleans, Louisiana used to be a French Colony but that was French Monarchy of King Louis XIV not Empire. Our Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte sell Louisiana to Thomas Jefferson cuz he needed money to invade Europe If France had won the Seven Years War. The French Language would have been the official language in the World
Going by ancient French feudal rules, the crown of England was a "vassal" of the French crown in the Middle Ages, thought it’s a super duper hyper oversimplified way to say it
I'm asking if in another dimension our actual would be controlled by the French Empire and the British Empire.. What if our actual world would be? (I'm proud of my country who colonized a lot, yes I am French. Now baguette time!)
This is what I imagine was going on. The French: I have most everything. The British: Yeah but you suck at war compared to me. The French: Perhaps, but you know what you suck at? The British: What’s that? The French: Ruling your subjects! *begins to pour resources into Texas*
