You have to use the knights for vill and trader raiding. Just not a main fighting force unless you damage the opponent eco that badly that all they can afford is trash and you sit on production with chivalry taking out the trash army as they come out. Then you can mass knights to close the game out with a landmark snipe.

It seems like traders are not spawned but trained when upgrades are finished, is that so?

yes u can do the upgrades in the dark age and it will produce the traider if the landmark is finished

Just lost a match to this earlier, playing Delhi. I saw him put down the CoC, so I went stable first in Feudal, put out a few horsemen and then ran for it. Altai, so he had the easiest wall of his life and by time I broke through he had more Knights waiting than I had Horsemen. He did a massive late feudal push but messed up by not making enough rams, and I got Castle and dropped Keeps and survived that, but he ultimately outscaled me on trade eco.

Altai has been a trade map for a long while now However once the trade has been walled then u should stop making horsemen and u should trying pushing with infantry and rams in feudal, especially from the neutral tradepost side and wall his as well as yours neutral trade post.

The neutral gives a little less gold. So it is bettter to have your own market at both sites for the max amount of gold! :D

These changes went way too far. No one wanted an ai with double resources, except people who already don’t like playing vs ai in the first place. Why ruin a game mode to cater to people who won’t even play that game mode?
