The highlights didn’t show my favourite moments. Sandslands’ boundary throw in punch to Hill and Pav’s chase in the last quarter the full length of the field for a defensive spoil. Was that the only time he chased in his career?

Rivals? Geelong and Hawks are rivals through Grand finals and bad blood. I think Freo were trying to invent a rivalry that was never there. I’ve never heard a Geelong supporter consider Freo as their rival.
Incredibly ignorant comment, look up the meaning of rivalry and then come back. Obviously Hawthorn are Geelong's biggest rivals, just as West Coast are Fremantle's biggest rivals. Key word there, biggest. You can have more than one rival. The number of tight games that have been played between Freo and the Cats in recent times, especially when Freo were contending for the flag, and the bad blood between the teams, such as the Scarlett punch and the Chapman hit, would constitute a rivalry.
Imperator If you type in AFL team rivalries, list of or greatest rivals or any form of opinions in the general public either Geelong v Freo doesn’t even get mentioned or a very very small percentage. They played a few finals against each other and had some MRP incidents (mainly against Ballantyne) but they aren’t rivals. I don’t know of anyone or have I heard of anyone look at the fixture and pencil in the Cats v Freo and think I can’t wait to beat Freo BUT the vast majority of cats fans look at the Hawks games and want to beat them. Yes you can have more than one rival but Freo aren’t rivals with the cats.
?? Freo are decent and finals contenders. If you think they're dogshit then you have rocks in your head. Cats are the biggest pretenders in the league.
