Friday's was ABC's answer to NBC's Saturday Night Live. It was awesome but only lasted 2 or 3 seasons. But three of the actors ended up on Seinfeld: Kramer, The Rabbi, and Larry David.
This Fridays parody sketch's plot is about similar to one of the actual Three Stooges shorts, "Micro-Phonies", but with rock music, instead of the classical opera and orchestra type.
If anyone liked to know something. Larry David from Fridays, is also Sister M-M in 2012 movie of The Three Stooges. I'm not kidding. Is that funny or what?
Very funny! It's a shame that Moe Howard's son in law Norman Maurer put a stop to Fridays using the 3 stooges due to the drug references. Thanks for posting this!
It would makes a great adult version of The Three Stooges. It's a shame that Norman Maurer hates it and think it's more in vain of The Three Stooges than a dedication. I don't think this sketch in vain of The Three Stooges. Besides, The Three Stooges have smoke tobacco and drink alcohol in their shorts.
It's been so long since I've seen this it's like watching it for the first time. I recognized Mark Blankfield right away lol I can't remember the black guy's name I'll have to look it up. Bruce Mahler was later in the Police Academy movies if I'm correct. Love this. :o)
Kramer was in the same show Friday's, but not this skit. Also the guy that plays Moe plays the Rabbi on Seinfeld... the one that tells Elaine's secrets lol
