I have an idea for an intro: "I'm tired of cooking, I think I'll order a pizza." *Opens the pizza box and the DS is inside* "Wait, this isn't pizza... it's Cooking Mama!"
Thanks to your series, my two-year-old is both obsessed with me playing Cooking Mama and actually watching me cook. She loves looking at the side-by-side comparisons of the video, can now identify the difference between slicing and chopping, gets excited when it’s time to mix or knead (especially knead), and always says “see ya!” at the end. You have inspired me to follow a few Cooking Mama recipes and I even made Spaghetti Neapolitan to her absolute delight recently. Thank you so much for your videos, no matter the pace of the schedule. Always put your life and wellness over RU-vid. We’ll be here just as excited for the next one, no matter how long or what new thing you’d like to try. :)
I like the differences in this shorter video. I love the idea of using cooking mama as a jumping off point for dinner ideas and techniques. Plus it dropped at the perfect moment. I was prepping salad for with supper. So, it gave me something to watch while I did. :)
I definitely am! I am a little concerned that some of the screenshots look a lot like mobile game (that game is so stupidly easy that it’s not fun. I wouldn’t even do my best and I’d still get 3 stars), but I am still very excited and I’m happy to give it a chance
tim i have to know, did you just have a laserdisc player and a copy of gremlins on laserdisc just lying around? or did you buy both the player and the disc just for the skit?
As long as I have the puns, I don't mind the shorter videos, especially if it means more frequent uploads. I was concerned that the fish didn't look cooked through though....
I just love this series. You're such a genuine and charming guy, I enjoy watching pretty much anything you upload. Please continue having fun and experimenting as needed!
The reason the constant flipping works for tilapia is because the stuff sticks really badly. Most flaky fish benefit from it so as to not split while trying to get it off the pan.
Always get excited to see a new upload from you! But two in such a short time is such a treat!!! I actually really liked this format that you experimented with!
I am. Thanks for the concern though 🙂. I got caught up finding a new place to live and had to put youtube on the back burner. Next time I upload it'll be from a new, better lit kitchen!
My favourite fried fish dish is also a video game dish-- salmon meuniere from Zelda: Breath of the Wild! I found a recipe for it on sheikahplate(dot)com. Now I'm thinking it would be really cool if we watched you make some dishes from that game.
Me and my Dad recently made some pan-fried trout...wish I had seen this so we could have tried it! Fish was still good though, seasoned salt is the way to go!
When my mom cooks fried fish, she’d have the tomato cut into smaller pieces in a bowl and added fish sauce. Just an idea out there for those who think largely-cut tomatoes are too plain/weird. :P
Hello! I just found your channel today! I just discovered a couple days ago that I love Cooking Mama! (I'd heard about it before, but didn't know much about it) I found the Cooking Mama game for mobile a couple days ago and became interested in the series. I now want to get more of the titles in the series. I plan to get the new Cooking Mama for Switch! I love cooking in real life, so that's probably why I love the game! (P.S. Tilapia is my favorite fish! I'll have to try this recipe sometime!)
