Let’s make fried rice but it’s Indian 🇮🇳
In the 90s when I grew up no one cared what food I ate or didn’t eat. This used to be a country that ate and let eat and I hope someday people start minding their own business and stop bugging me about what I choose to eat.
This fried rice is really delicious and you can make it with any meat of your choosing. So go ahead and make it. Let me know how it turns out.

No I eat the peppercorns and curry leaves but the 5 spice, cinnamon and cloves I pick out while eating. Most Indian dishes have whole spices and you normally just pick them out as you eat since most Indians will eat with their hands. So remove and place on the side of your plate.

Mere curiosity, how much water/how long do you cook black rice? A few years back I did buy a small bag of indian black rice in an asian store, tried recipes from google but always turned out crunchy similar to cooking white rice without enough water 🤔

So I used 500ml of mutton stock to 200g of black rice. Took close to 20-25min to cook. Bring to a boil and then lower the heat to low and just let it cook covered.

@@HeadbangersKitchen might try black rice again at some point following this, might also try out the dish you've cooked in the video (though admittedly with less meat variety). Thanks for the portions/cooking method.

yep. People eat beef in most parts of India. If you go to Kerala, Goa and the NE and Bengal Cow Slaughter is also legal.

Same here, wish it was everywhere. So technically you can legally eat it at home and they can't stop you, but you just can't slaughter it in the states. You can bring it with you when you travel.

If you enjoy fried rice that way, more power to you but please don't call it Indian. Indians don't add chicken, beef and pork in their fried rice.

You know there are other Indians right? Like in Kerala they eat beef, that's still India. North East and Goa they eat pork, they are Indians as well. I live in Mumbai and we get beef, pork, chicken, goat, prawns and fish in fried rice and pulao format. So yes maybe sometime leave your city and state and realize India is a far more diverse country. Just because you don't eat something doesn't mean other Indians don't.
