Frieren: Becoming a Hero After the Hero's Journey 

Stark's "hang up about the sword"....is about how even " fake hero's" can make a difference.

No problem with disagreeing! I am aware of time being perceived as shorter as you get older as you have more time to compare it to, but the points of comparison that she uses most often are the "very" short spans of time she spent with people, not the endless monotony of her isolation, or her childhood with other elves. And I'm not saying that 50 years for Frieren is the same as 50 years for a human, because of the difference of perspective. I just don't think it will ever get to the point that she will see a year as a day. So as a whole her attitude just doesn't ring true to me, but like I said I think that will be addressed in the culmination of her arc. Thanks for the comment :)

I don't want to spoil anything, but because its just a prediction ig i can say what i think. It doesn't matter if she is with friends or not the time would still be very short for her. She doesn't compare it to her isolation because its basically one chunk of her life that has just passed her while she has beeing doing nothing. Also she compares it mostly to the heroes party because that is like a turning point to her, she recalls those moment as if they happened moments ago for her. Also all of the comparisons you did with her putting in the efort were after the heroes dead, yes some of them happened because she remmembered smt from when she was with them, but most things that she did were after Heimel's dead. Also that is a personal opinion and it does make me very sad, but i am seeing Fern and Stark having kids and dying while Frieren's journey continues after reaching heaven.
