Great story Chris,I've heard another story recently of a mountain biker who was racing down a mountain and rounding a curve on to a sudden steep incline and was suddenly visciously attacked by a huge mountain lion.He also virtually gave up expecting death because the cat had mauled him so bad and had him in a firm grip on the back of his neck and restricted his breathing.Just as he was fading a 9to 10 foot sasquatch appeared out of nowhere grabbed the lion with two huge hands lifted it above it's head and brought it down on its shoulders so hard it snapped it's spine instantly. The guy was similar to your guy where he was still conscious cause be had a rush of adrenaline. If that wasn't enough the guy said it took a look at him snarled took one leap over a huge boulder at the side of the trail and about 10 seconds later a female sasquatch appeared and it was then his mind and blood loss made him pass out.Next thing he remembers is being rushed to hospital in a EMT van.He asked the medic how they got to him and he said a ranger walked out of his cabin and he was lying just in front of him.Wow what a tale guys!!

VERY interesting story! I live in Arkansas and have floated the Buffalo more than once during the day. I have also heard of MANY Sasquach encounters across the U.S. and Canada. I never had an encounter with anything of this nature while in the woods, BUT, I believe these encounters are SO PREVALENT as to make any normal person take notice. I believe they are out there.

Gave me the chills and was on the edge of my seat. This was very real. Lots of credit to the dad and son for handling it in a sensible manner. That sunrise must've seemed like an eternity. So many accounts of these Sasquatch events and even sightings. Always makes me wonder how these creatures live off the land and what kind of shelters they have. Great story, Chris. The waterfall behind you was a nice backdrop.
@partner348
@partner348 Год назад
"...what kind of shelters they have" is thought provoking. Never having been captured or killed -- as far as we know -- you'd think we might see at least some kind of rudimentary shelter put together by creatures with obvious rock throwing, opposable thumbed skills.
@1notgilty
@1notgilty Год назад
@@partner348 There are lots of accounts of people finding what appear to be huge ground nests in the woods and shelters that are best described as lean-two's next to windfall trees and teepee-type structures around big trees. Most people wouldn’t even notice these things in the woods even if they saw them.

I recently heard a story about a hunter that was scanning an area he was hunting and saw a large boulder move then 3 Sasquatch come out from behind the boulder and the Sasquatch moved the bolder back covering the cave they came out of. On a side note, last year my husband and i were hiking an area near where we live here in Norcal an hour from Yosemite. My husband was joking around recording a video on his phone and said, "we are just out here looking for bigfoot". Right after he said that he heard a low sounding roar. I didnt hear it at the time but could definitely hear it on his recording later on when we got home. Also we hear a loud tree knock at night when we were camping last summer near our home. Very active area.

Regarding their shelters, according to some accounts, they exist in another dimension and can appear and disappear in our world. This would explain why some witnesses claim to have seen them suddenly vanish into thin air.

This brought back a very vivid memory of a similar situation. About 15 years ago I was camping with my dad, my little brother, and my grand parents who were a couple hundred yards away in a trailer. We were camped out along the rogue river in southern oregon. Where we had pitched the tents on the river was a rapid. It was very loud. We had to talk loud to hear each other. My brother and I shared a tent. He was maybe 8 or 9 and I was around 15. It was a normal day and we fell asleep to the sound of the river. I suddenly woke up terrified from a knock on the other side of the river. I lay still and silent until I hear 2 whoops on the other side of the river. My little brother woke up to both of these but I had to tell him it was just other campers (there weren’t any we were aware of however). As we start to fall back asleep we hear another whoop across the river. To our surprise someTHING made a whoop on our side as a response to the one we heard right before that. This terrified both of us but we were too scared to wake my dad or get out and go to his tent. From that point we stayed up all night listening to odd sounds I could only describe as low pitch whistling. Almost like a flute but you could tell it was animal made. (Or Bigfoot). When the sun rose we played it off as if nothing happened we didn’t want to be made fun of for being scared. The most interesting part to me was the fact we could hear the whistle over the roar of the rapids, but couldn’t hear each other talk while right next to each other. Come nightfall that day my dad asked us if we heard anything last night. We told him everything, and it turns out he heard everything we did as well. He wasn’t as scared as we were but remained silent to simply observe. I could go more in depth, I’ll ask my brother and dad to recall their story to see if I’m missing anything.

WOW! I believe you completely! I live in Rogue River Oregon on the side of a mountain & in the middle of the night, I thought my dogs were whining to go out so in one motion I slid the deck door open, turned on the light & stepped out. Directly across from me were 3 of them silhouetted under my cedar tree! It was a "Holy Crap!" moment, and as I backed up, they backed up. I'm 70 yrs old, have been an outdoorsman in Washington state all my life, salmon fishing on the ocean, Elk hunting in Glacier peak area, pheasant, grouse, deer, hunting. Exploring and fishing all the inland waters of Puget sound, etc. etc. Cougars can be heard for miles and sound very close, they'll scream like women, beavers smack water like giant Boulder sound, Wilson Snipe near marshes sound like a jungle monkey with a loud seven or eight wild, crazy, crescendo building, deep, WHOOP, WHOOP, WHOOP... I've seen bears plow throw 40 ft tall fir stands whipping them like blowing grass snapping and breaking. Elk and bears grunt and snort and elk bugles can screech . Coyotes usually very recognizable but there's some screams they make as well. Cougars in heat will signal scream once or twice before mated. And screech owls will scream like demon sirens, absolutely hideous sound and great horned owls actually scream as well. Even cotton tail and jack rabbits scream when prey gets them. Some of it really gets your attention but I've loved every minute of it. But, the throwing of rocks sounds like ferel folks in the Arkansas woods. They are lucky there was no "Deliverence" type interaction, or someone could have been hurt, or worse Wildlife is varied and magnificent. After a lifetime I'm sure I haven't heard it all yet.

I'm a little jealous of you who live in the US - your woods seem to be infested with cryptids and the supernatural. I believe that our Swedish forests are far too safe and quiet for my taste. @@erikrhafer6644 I know some of the ones you listed. The forest trolls and the gnomes are probably best known in Sweden. Most modern Swedes count them as folklore. You never hear of anyone encountering these creatures these days (with very few exceptions). Among other things, I am a field researcher in the national organization UFO-Sweden, and I know that it happens that there are still some reports of encounters with classic gnomes. But as I said - they are extremely rare. I have several American friends that I talk to quite regularly, including Justin from the Cryptids of the Corn podcast in Ohio. Justin and his brother encountered a Bigfoot on their farm when they were in their teens. Another saw the silhouette of a Dogman in the twilight. It feels a bit like the American continent attracts a lot of cryptids, for some reason.

Hey Man! Those copper cups are cool. I own a few but depending on how it was manufactured and a few other chemical reaction possibilities, they can become toxic. The jury is still out on whether or not they're completely safe. Recently, I found an antique silver cup and I have to say, everything that I drink out of that cup tastes better, stays cold longer, stays warm longer and even through it weighs twice as much as my copper cups. I absolutely love it. If I give someone a drink from the silver cup. They all have the same reaction. " Whoa! What a cool cup. It feels like there's a charge of energy when you hold it. It looks and feels so solid and cool. I want it. " I say, "Thank you. I know it's really cool, but I can't let you have it because it's my lucky cup." It even looks like a small trophy or sippy cup with grips on both sides. If I find another one like it, I'll try to get it to you. Anyway, I love your content. Have fun. Stay safe.

She said one evening they went a little further then usual and saw a big hairy tall thing looking at them from further down. Suddenly it started coming up the trail at a fast pace and they started running back out. She said the dogs even took off. She said it chased them to almost the head of the trail. I’ve floated much of the Buffalo with friends numerous times over the past 20 years but we never had such an experience. Having said that, it doesn’t surprise me that someone could have such an experience as it truly is surrounded by vast and dense forest. It’s a great river to float though as each twist and turn offers a totally unique and amazing view and the fishing can be awesome. A weather radio is a must as the river can rise very quickly and be impassable during a rain storm. In the past, people have been swept off of gravel bars during the night while camping.

I fish the Buffalo about 20 years ago and camped had a great time we walked the Buffalo and fly fished. It's close to the state line of Missouri in the heart of the Ozarks beautiful place to go visit. Just north of there I did a lot go Turkey hunting.

I spent my 20s and 30s floating and camping the lower Buffalo almost every weekend. Holidays we would put in on fri and come out on Monday at the fork of the Buffalo River and the White River. That trip is complete wilderness, no roads in or out. The only thing we ever worried about was not to float under trees because of snakes. Never had problems, the black bear will never bother you unless your a threat to cubs, then a momma bear is dangerous, just give them space. Now my grown children float.

I heard the melody of a woman singing softly in the seep woods three different times and days on same trail. U just could almost make out words but not. My dog would stop and listen everytime and look the direction I could hear it coming from.

Chris there is such authenticity to the stories you tell, I have no doubts that most are real encounters with a tremendous creature we do not understand. I have spent a lifetime hunting and hiking in the forests of Colorado, Wyoming, Michigan and Taiwan. I feel blessed to have only encountered bears and lions! I hope that I never have a monster story to share with you, but stay tuned as this year's hunting season approaches...

Another AMAZING experience that shows how docile these beings truly are. Those creatures could have had a feast and no one would be the wiser, but, that is not their intent. I truly believe they only harm if harmed first…and that they have deep empathic connections to everything in nature !! Thanks for taking the time, everyone! 🕊️

That's why we always bring, starting next time, claymore mines and set them up around the back of the camp with air pressure proximity switches. We've lost half of our neighbors when testing so we know the setup works. A few beers make testing a lot more fun.

I like the sound effects, the films of Bigfoot sightings, story telling, information on hiking and camping, and much more. I imagine your channel will continue to do well. You’re format is unique. You aren’t just reading submissions; you’re recounting the stories dramatically. The interviews are interesting too. I’m streaming all the videos!

We moved to a small rural town in SoCal in the early 70's, I was 6 and our new house was on a bluff overlooking a river and riverbed. My bedroom faced the bluff & river. At night I'd hear people screaming in the riverbed, it was terrifying, so I'd wake up my parents. After some time, my mom, being tired of my nonsense, decided to sleep in my room. Sure enough, she woke up to screaming. It was a very active group of screech owls who lived on the bluff and came out at night. It took awhile, but I began to enjoy their "music."

Excellent story!!! Really enjoyed it!!! I loved that part "from their side of the river" ..... meaning the source of the noise is moving toward them. Their options??? Get out of there as fast as possible... which they did...... Now, they didn't get a call back because anyone that lives around there already knows. Here's a story for you... 2008 ice storm, leaves still frozen on the trees in Lunenburg Massachusetts.... delivering newspapers in the middle of the night.... pull up a driveway, notice what looked like a small weeping willow tree in front if me, that tree wasn't there yesterday... I turned away to get the paper to put it in the paper tube... I look back in time to see the "tree" slowly moving sideways behind the house. I noticed a smell like wet dog and unbathed human... I backed out of there, called the police, told them "your gonna think I'm crazy but..." I relayed my experience... The policeman told me "you're not crazy, just get out of there and finish your deliveries after sunup"..... I listened to the man. In my 10 years of delivering there every night, that only happened once, but once was more than enough!!
