I recently found a new horror series called Hatchet (last movie is called Victor Crowley). And the kills are absolutely incredible! I won’t say much but it’s worth the watch.

Steven Spielberg described Piranha as "the best of the Jaws ripoffs." I was actually surprised how much I enjoyed that movie. I haven't heard such high praise for Piranha II, (unseen by me), though that was the film that kicked off James Cameron's career.

My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2020 during the pandemic, and he passed in May 2022 during my first year of college. Dead Meat has been an outlet for me throughout all of this. I got to watch it on Netflix maybe six or seven years ago and thinking "I've waited fifteen years for this, and now I've seen it." I’ll be honest, the only animal in this movie that could do all of this is the tegu. They’re not serial killers, but they can solve even the most advanced problems out there and trick both alligators and humans. They’re literally as smart as the Jurassic park velociraptors. Having been researching this species for 15 years, I can vouche for the point I made.

I'm really sorry about your dad, James. I lost my great grandmother a little bit ago and it hurt, a lot, and I needed to take a break from everything for awhile. The running gag of “still not frogs” really got me. Damn NotFrogs killing folks, don’t they know that’s the frog’s jobs? Take care of yourself, James, it’s so sweet that you’ve taken Molly in. I know I'm late to the party, but I really want to say this. I have a disability that keeps me in bed most days and causes constant pain, but one of my few respites is this channel. As someone in health care, it is not just difficult to understand how someone is gone, but it is also struggle to accept that they are. No two people grieve the same way, everyone deserves the proper time and support to be able to do so. My condolences, and I wish you and yours all the best.
