A tip , when you’re out bored, on your dingy is not in use it needs to be tilted up out of the water to keep the water jacket from filling up with barnacles
I think Jude has spent all the RU-vid income on bathers … I’m going to have to lift my game next year when we get our boat. PS Love the pretty blue l/s shirt (even if it is a little see through when wet 🙈)
Hi Helene! 😅 I think I could do a summer and not repeat a wear! One of my winter jobs is to make some bikinis so watch this space. That light blue top is super handy. It’s from Rip Skirt Hawaii (you’ll see I wear their skirts too). It’s full sun protection with peaked hood and long sleeves with thumb holes to protect your hands. Very cool to get sun protection for the hot days, and even cooler when sailing and it’s wet - it’s my DIY instant aircon 😃.
@@sailinghelios2023thanks for sharing, the top is lovely, I’ll look it up - I noticed your skirts and thought they were rip skirt perfect for boatlife and planning on getting a couple, I didn’t realize they did rips too. You look tall, did you get the short skirt length ? 😊
Yea. The white skirt with bright print is Rip Skirt. I think it’s Sport - which doesn’t have any pleating and has a tiny inside pocket. I have it in shortest length and I am 5’10”. The normal version has pleats and side pockets which is a bit more slouchy looking. I have that one in dark and light blue in number two length. Best ever. You also need similar fabric in shorts - quick dry, cool and easy to hand wash and line dry and not crushed. Kathmandu and Macpac stuff. You can’t get that kind of clothing over here. All the cotton things have been discarded.
That’s a shame. I am sorry you are offended seeing swimwear on a boat. With the at times unbearable heat over summer in Greece nobody wears much and we are just showing our authentic life. We wish you well.
