FRONT CAMERA EVERY TRUCK NEEDS!

I used to work for a building supply company as a delivery driver. Most of the time I was in a larger flat bed truck. One day I pulled up to an intersection to make a left turn just as the light turned red, so I knew I was the first in line. While I was waiting for the light to cycle back to a green arrow so I could make my turn, I didn't notice the old lady in a BMW Z4 that thought it was a good idea to pass everyone else that was in line to make that left turn and squeeze her tiny car right in front of me on the crosswalk. Well oncoming traffic was thinning out and I saw I had a green light so I started to roll forward so I could get through the intersection. All I can say is I'm glad her horn worked because that is the only reason I didn't kill her that day. If I had a front facing camera I would have known she was there way before I took my foot off the brake.

You're a king for installing that front camera! A true king thinks of his subjects and not just of himself.

That front cam is the way to go... I need that for parking lots where it's hard to know what's 6 to 18 inches in front of my truck.

Zone is the best cheaper lift to get imo. Same company as BDS just without the same warranty

Nice set-up with the front camera and edge monitor, I would have enjoyed watching the install. Zach really gives a perspective of how tall your truck really is. In my leveled Denali 3500 I have almost ran over a couple of people as I could barely see the top of their head. Chris keeps the $500.00 because he worked for it lol.

The front and rear cameras are great for backing in a trailer in tight places were adjustments will need to be made. I got them on my 6.7 and need them on my Peterbilt 😂

I agree with you. I learned how to maneuver without them. But they sure do come in handy to get that inch closer. and even without them i get in tight since I know my vehicle well.

Going back to the budget lift kit comment part on the video I have a 2018 f150 leadfoot grey with a 6" trailmaster lift and I absolutely love it!! Factory wheels on it rides just a little tiny bit stiffer with my 20x12's with 33x12.5 rides notably stiffer wouldn't change my lift for anything else budget minded that is

Rancho is a good lift. Rough country is a very budget lift kit. I have a Rancho 4inch lift and the design of it is great. It has a 1 piece diff cage. No shaving or cutting required. All 3/16 steel. Maintains factory geometry. Great lift.

Hey there. That's pretty badass! I have the Edge monitor also from my 2018 Ram 2500 Cummins. When I first got months ago I was kicking the idea around to install a front camera. Which Amazon camera did u get? Thanks for the info keep the video's coming 👍🙂

On the 2018-19 f150s it is hidden in the badge on the bottom and it comes with a washer

Yep, i learned to drive in a jeep. Moved to a ranger as my daily. Now, i have a 3500 dually with front sensors. Those sensors have saved me a few times in parking places. The camera helps when hitchig a trailer. I cant see a damn thing past my fenders especoally a 20ft tandem axle flatbed. The camera lines me up perfectlt. Also saves my bad leg and the risk of falling eah time getting in and out.

I like the answer that was given for the “budget lift.” No one likes a budget lift, but giving the answer “you get what you pay for” is seriously true. If you want to ride like a Cadillac but don’t want to spend a ton of cash then good luck 😂

I have a daily driver, 2004 Kodiak with military axels and 40's. When I tell you I almost tapped a car because its way too high I couldnt see there was a car in front of me. Monster lifted truck problems. Hatters gonna hate, but money talks and big trucks Rock. lol

Bro what did your installer used as power source for camera I got exactly same setup ready to be installed including CTS2 edge and cheap Amazon camera. I want to do the same set up with the camera switch. But I need to figure the power source inside the cab?

The shop that's going to put mine in is going to connect it so the screen comes on when I hit my brakes. Does that sound right?? The screen will be seperate from my built in navigation/general info screen with backup camera view.

Cool camera - see if they can outfit it with a speed sensor so when you stop at a traffic light or stop sign you will see if there is someone in front of you and when you start moving over 5 MPH your gauges will return.

I think it’s kinda funny how after the video with Dave and the Tacoma now you have the Tacoma and taco truck add on your video.

I think it's a great idea. I have a leveled silverado 2500 4x4 . I put senors on the front . so my wife wouldn't have to flag me closer . when I have to pull in to park.

I agree 100% especially for lifted trucks a front camera is very useful. I was stopped at a red light and then it turned green and a dude in a wheel chair was directly in front of me but I couldn't see him. So I almost ran him right over. Luckily he had a little flag sticking up and I saw that. But it was almost really bad for both of us.

I love my zone lift on my limited 2016 ramhd 40k miles on it and everything is still in good condition with constant towing oh and rides so smooth unlike my high country that I ended up lifting and lost comfort and turning radius that one had a bds 8”
