Nice, like you I've had to install and take the tie rod off three times already. I'm going to do a 4th one on Saturday. I actually shortened the cross bolt on the inside to prevent it from rubbing/pulling on the boot so much. One of the guys with Z1 OffRoad was selling his CJD tie rods and one of his major complaints was he went through three boots and he was getting tired of keeping the tie rods clean and boots replaced. Now I just need to go back and loctite the bolt I shortened and the piece that you screwed into the rack. I'll probably loctite the nut on the knuckle as well due to the same concern you had. Nice video!

haha! nice we all learn as we go )) oh yes thats a good idea to cut those bolts did cut them too as well it also helped alot to slide the boot over it more easier

That's pretty cool man. Never seen a tie rod like that but I also only do mild offroading. Nothing crazy 😁

@@ThrowyaXup haha I found out about need for that 11mm during my install as well so I had to go to autozone and bull full set of like 5 of them because they didn't had single 11mm hex.. 🤣 oo nice sounds like you putting good parts in there! hopefully my video will be helpful to you
