Interesting fact. In the latest Splinter Cell game, the developers actually said goodbye to the Metal Gear series. While discussing other secret agents, Sam learns that the only one who was ever able to keep up with him "retired to Alaska to focus on dog mushing."

@@Mojo1356 They never said the other agent's name, so it was just heavily implied. I personally think they were just doing it as a sign of respect to a competing franchise now relegated to the ignoble fate of being pachinko game background material.

I can imagine Snake teaching Sam the art of CQC and Sam teaching Snake some Krav Maga. It was confirmed Sam Fishers primary martial art is Krav Maga as it is taught by Navy Seals as well as Muay Thai and Kali.

it's great that you made this video because this is one of my favorites death battle encounters and yeah chris sabbath as solid snake is badass and incredible he actually mentioned that he always wanted to play snake and will screwattack gave him the chance to do it, haha the references, the dialogue everything was amazing, and in fact I have to say that I have no problems with your head-cannon the truth when you mentioned in the video an incredible image came to my mind of sam and solid snake sharing a few beers while snake says: I told you that you should react more faster, and sam saying: smartass old man XD shutup, hahahaha great reaction frost as always, and i'm glad you are back.

Sam Fisher had the upper hand on the stealth level, but Snake had the upper hand on hand to hand combat. But once both were fighting, stealth doesn't matter anymore and without that asset, Sam was destined to lose.

To my knowledge Foxhound is not a military unit of the US. However graduating Air Force Cadets have the option to name their squadron, like Foxhound or the Wonderbolts. Of course it has to be approved first.

Frost the Hobidon/Frostbite CJ Here is an interesting fact in Smash Brothers Ultimate on Snake: The symbol in Smash Ultimate is a “!”, the reason why it was changed was because the Foxhound symbol belonged to Kojima the creator of Metal Gear. When he left Konami, that symbol belong to him not Konami. So they went with the “!” symbol in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate.

And yes, if these two were actually teaming up on a mission, that would be epic. The Stealthiest soldier and the deadliest soldier on earth, that would be the ultimate duo. And i know that a lot of people actually want a crossover to happen between these two franchises. The name of the game would be: Splinter Gear Solid
