I broke the rules and drove a Jeep through Smiggin's Folly. I was punished with a broken Jeep. The lesson here is to always follow the rules unless you don't want to then you don't have to. That's a rule. #smigginsfolly #jeepgladiator
@@turksandjerps I ended up with both chassis. I ordered the LC thinking they made one for both bodies. Then I ordered the gladiator chassis. Had the gladiator body since it’s been out. Only built the cab so far. Guessing I’ll pick up another LC body for the other one. Have to double check on the instructions. Don’t remember seeing any.
Do you know what came loose mine is doing the same thing but it’s not the motor loose or the pinion, it seems to be the transmission somewhere is slipping
For me it was the motor came loose and the pinion/spur slipped. I haven’t driven it since fixing it to test the repair. I’ve been trying to sell it with no luck.
If the point is to pile on Killerbody, I get it. If not, why not figure out what happened, because -and no thanks to Killerbody for not providing instructions- a lot of these trucks are incorrectly assembled. I don't even have one, and have had to let 4 or 5 of the reviewers know that they had something in backward or upside down.
I got this second hand and fixed some errors from the original assembly myself without instructions (because genius). There are some poor design elements here and a lot of undersized hardware, even if it’s to be a true to scale functional model. I’m guessing the motor came loose AGAIN because of the goofy engine cover and transmission design. In conclusion, Jeep goes boom.
