FS 2020 Landing in EXTREMELY Bad Weather - MUST SEE & HEAR!

I didn't expect THAT severe weather while descending into Asunción, Paraguay (SGAS), but it turned out to be the most intimidating and immersive bad weather landing experience I ever had in any flight sim. Hats off to FS2020's default weather system and sound environment!

Yes, I'm using TTS in this video for experimental reasons. I also state that towards the end of the video: 4:58. Don't worry, this was a one-time exception! Cheers guys, thx for watching.

Sorry this needs updating its not realistic in real life you will never be able to land the plane and crash! I wish the game could simulate that!

@@SwiftractPtss I can see it if in a private jet such as the Citation and the owner is breathing in your ear and doesn't want to divert, but still it is incredibly dangerous even if there was no wind...

I seem to have this problem with the citation too with ILS landings where it is offset to the left of the runway. Great video, made me feel uneasy when you reached minimums and still couldn't see the runway lights yet.

I just landed a TBM 930 in New Orleans during IDA. 6 Mile approach took 18 mins. Landed with ground speed of 12 and TAS of 102. Slammed it, but landed. Couldnt taxi because the plane would lift on power. Lol..

this kind of approach interest me a lot of cause i like visiting the worldwide in 747-8 and often in north and south america or japan the weather is like this make me often go around to perform and pass my landings as well i can tell you its very hard to land with theses bad conditions on airports based in high altitude my prefers approaches are also theses with CROSSWINDS GUSTS 50 KNOTS in 747-8 FS 2020 is truly an OPENWORLD FLIGHT SIM + METEOROLOGIC SIM advanced based on real pilots feedbacks and experiences

Oha.. hast Du meinen Kommentar gelöscht? Oder wurde er garnicht gepostet, da ich einen Link mit eingefügt habe? hmm.. seltsam. In jedem Fall ist das Wetter im MSFS super gut gelungen. Wie stark hast Du denn in die Pedale treten müssen bei der Landung?

Sorry SNU, irgendwie blockt YT alle Kommentare mit Links, obwohl ich das eigentlich ausgeschaltet habe... Konnte deinen Kommentar aber trotzdem lesen und stimme voll und ganz zu :) Ich besitze ja leider nur den Twist-grip vom Joystick für's Rudder, aber da musste ich nach dem Aufsetzen schon ordentlich drehen ;) Leider nicht so präzise wie Pedale. Grüße!

Typically MSFS ATC, a visual approach is definitely the best choice with close to 0 visibility lol ;) But jokes aside, I hope Asobo will implement ATC awareness for the weather conditions at some point.

That's a feature of the Working Title modded CJ4, it lets you watch charts on the MFD like in the real plane. Maybe I will do a short tutorial for it.

They aren't black grey, they are blue grey or green grey at their darkest. You busted minimums. Loss of licence right there. Unsubbed!

Its a loss of license if you ended up crash landing. I would imagine descend below minima is more common in private jet ops, especially when your boss is on board and does not like to be late because of go around.

If you watch the video completely, I state that I'm using TTS for this video only: 4:58. Also we're in a sim and I could already see parts of the ground when reaching minimums, that's why I continued because I wanted to land in these conditions. Cheers
