Join George, Jen, Deshawn, & Vince from @GarnetandOld for a special Tuesday Episode of the Renegade Rundown with Tavion Wallace Set to make his Committment at 630 ET Tonight! We usually go live at 7ET but depending on how it goes I will probably go live the second the Committment is done.
What will the recruiting board look like going forward? Having missed on Zaydrius Rainey-Sale the Wallace decision looming is huge but afterward we will break down what is next.
July 4th guarantees fireworks but is the hype real?
Oh Yeah and The National media is starting totalk more and more like us. Is FSU out before the end of July? August 15th deadline looms for FSU to make it into the BIG10 or SEC by 2025.

Once again Coach Shannon can't get a really good LB out of the high school ranks. This has to get fixed ASAP cuz we didn't get any of the 3 LB's we had a chance for, damnit man!

@@TheRenegadeReport That's what I'm hoping for and I think Wallace is the one we could still get. I'm assuming Arkansas must have threw the bag at him cuz they weren't even in the mix. I mean what a terrible team to go to, makes no damn sense at all. Every one of our other position coaches are killing it in recruiting except Shannon so maybe we should just give Sims his job. Maybe Shannon needs to go, I don't know but this is getting really old real quick! 🤦🏽‍♂️

You can see why Norvell uses the Portal so frequently and effectively. Dealing with the maturity and ego with some of these HS recruits can be exhausting.

If you think it ain't over, I'm here to tell you that this recruitment is over. You don't spend a year stating that FSU is your first choice, it's where you want to be, and then commit elsewhere and then say, "everyone else thought they knew where I was going to go. The reason everyone else thought they knew where you'd go to school was because you told them that FSU is your leader. Ya don't do that sort of stuff to the school you want to be with. This was clearly a deliberate effort to mislead.

As a guy who covers the Hogs, I can say that this had me shook😂 As far as NIL, not sure it was the main factor. The $$ for football is dismal because some donors what Pitt gone. Some of his interviews afterwards suggests Arkansas was higher than we all thought. Him and T-Will have a great relationship. But you’re right. Arkansas hasn’t been able to keep a 4-star recruit, so the recruitment is absolutely not over.

@@TheRenegadeReport yeah he did! Usually you’ve got someone in family/friends group whispering, but he kept his camp air-tight. it was out of left field for me too! I didn’t even watch the commitment.😅 If you haven’t yet, watch Coach Williams’ reaction. Not sure he truly believed Wallace when he verbally committed on his OV (that’s the rumor, anyway).

As I just said that makes 3 LB's in Nix, Sale and Wallace we didn't get in the past 4 days, unbelievable man! Shannon just can't close on elite LB's out of high school and that's unfortunate cuz we will have to keep looking in the portal for LB's every year instead of developing LB's from high school! Really does suck man!

LB has been a hard spot to get quality LBs, yes we got one or so but its definitely a weak area in pulling players in. It's never over though. Go Noles 🏹💯💥

Sucks for him because he will never win. I can him spurning us for Bama, Auburn, UGA, OSU etc. But Arkansas offered him the most money without a doubt. These kids will never learn, that short term money doesnt work out with loser teams. These kids come from crazy circumstances and look at stupid rap videos all day and want to live high. I would rather take a little less NIL money and go with a winner because I want to WIN. I have no problem with Shannon because he produces solid backers that help us win. FBA/B1
