My heart goes out to this woman and her family l hope they get everyone involved in this including the mother and the brother in law.l often wonder how do these people sleep at night.
Some of these comments make me sick, this woman is in deep sorrow and pain. Just look at the bags under her eyes, the hands shaking while she reads, stumbling over words. She understands the law and is following what the judge requested. When reading from a paper, it's hard to show the expression on your face unless you are a trained actress. She wants justice served. She is fighting to be able to see her grandchildren. I see the pain in her face and I pray that the whole family is taken down and looking dirbthebday each of them have to take the stand..
Whatever your personal opinion may be, please remember that this is a real case, not a true crime TV show. Be respectful of her irreversible loss. Why not think that she's made progress in processing her grief and was able to handle her emotions gracefully in public.
as a Mother of a murder victim I can tell you reading your VIS is the hardest thing to do, myself I had to practice in front of my friends so I could do it in court. My heart breaks for her

Closure is a silly, made-up word, something that does not really exist. The death of someone one loves deeply leaves a hole in the middle of one's life. One learns to navigate (carefully) around the hole, but the hole never fills up and disappears.

Why has Wendi Adelson not been charged with anything? She is the only person with a motive to have her husband murdered. A classic narcissist with a huge sense of entitlement and greed. She is the one who started all this with her constant complaining she wanted everything her way and that meant she had to get rid of her husband. She may not have shot him but I can't believe she didn't know it was going to happen. It doesn't make sense that she's getting to live her life and throw everyone else in her family under the bus. It's sickening

At 2:25 the judge literally says “....Mrs. Markel I would ask that you stick to the reading, what is said and not ad lib....”. For those of you making comments of “this isn’t coming from the heart...” or “reading from a paper...” this poor woman is doing what had been asked of her. Pay attention next time before you start smearing a woman that has drastically lost a child and had to face his murderer in public!!! Shame!!!

Was Wendi here when her former mother-in-law spoke? If not, this would show Wendi's true character. If she had no involvement, it seems she would still be here because he WAS the father of her children. Let's hope that their children do not inherit the evil and diabolical attributes of her monstrous family. Her family ARE NOT good people. They will face the lord one day! Heaven help them!

I truly believe that Wendi’s biggest beef with Dan was that she was JEALLOUS of him and his accomplishments especially those in the same professional field as her own - always the spoilt person, she just could not tolerate being a natural second (in her mind) to Dan. My thoughts exactly. Wendi was always the golden child, second to none academically, until she compared herself to Danny. I believe she was consumed with jealousy, and her mother couldn't handle Dan getting the best of the Adelsons in litigation. She hated him for it. Hate and jealousy consumed their minds. They hated Dan more than they loved his sons.

You know that's quite a statement. I understand the irony. But what a gas lighting mind F that would be if she had! I've been thinking about your comment. I don't believe it would have been appropriate for an ex to speak. But his boys are a very different story. It's glaringly obvious that a mother would encourage her children to speak though. For they are the ones most impacted by the loss of a parent. They are young men now. But the guilt of their maternal family would never allow such a thing. And that says volumes about the connection to the actual murder. My mind is blown that this is the only comment ever addressing the absence of any Adelson as a victim.

Golnaz. Always a perfect man, not so she wouldnt have left him if he was such a good person. Not that would be a cause to kill anyone. They wanted to place kids in adoption, never said to have Dan kids, says alot from dabs mother revenge on the kids to send them to adoption.
This woman wasn’t nice neither was her son. Just sayin. Doesn’t mean her son deserved what happened by any means. But rumor is that Dan & his mom treated Wendi really horribly.
You should rewatch this video and pay attention to the judge at 2:25 and rethink your comment! Not only because the judge made her read from those pieces of paper and actually tried to stop her because he thought she was trying to get in something extra (11:05 for reference) but because her and her family could come across this comment and find it very very hurtful! You’re NOT the only person on this planet ma’am!
