FT991A CH1-CH5 Voice Memory Slots Demo IPO/AMP1/AMP2/ATT and QSO w/K7ZOX in WA

This video shows how to program the Voice Memory locations, similar to how you program the same for CW mode except these are recordings of your voice into the microphone.
K7ZOX was coming in about a 5 by1 I used the AMP1 10 dB (for 1.6 S units) and AMP2 20 dB for (for 3.3 S units).
I also show the ATT with about 12 dB (for 2.0 S units)

Happy New Year Mike, let me know if there's anything else you need, having the feature kind of frees up your hands for writing down that incoming call sign and checking QRZ plus less wear and tear on the mic,

Good informative video. I keep forgetting how to program those memory slots and have to fumble my through it every time. They changed how to program the memory slots on the FT-710. it's less confusing. Barry, KU3X

Thanks for the video but on first one asking is the frequency in use still had your call sighn ? Or do you hit second recording after that ?

Happy New Ralph that's good question, no I didn't have a 3rd button with call sign only, not a bad idea, I may have been in error but I haven't been giving my call sign when calling a "Frequency In Use" maybe I should? Not a bad practice, I've had people come back and tell me "yes the frequency is in use" they didn't mention me not giving the call sign. Thanks appreciate the message 73 and have a great 2024 maybe we can make a QSO, I do voice and CW
