This is a video that shows you how to replace your injectors on your 2006-2012 eclipse GT Please email me at Jason@autocityimports.com for more questions
So i have an 07 gt 3.8 eclipse . Other day I hit 120mph and it felt like it did not wanna go any further. So my question is would changing my stock injectors to other let me hit or come close to 160mph ? For is there something else not related to injectors that needs to be addressed? I've seen threads of poeple talking about how they hit 120 mph and the car doesn't want to push any further . Like it's not capable. Great video by the way . Very well explained.
So you hit the rev limiter. A tune will allow you to get higher than the 120, as you can remove that safety feature. Injectors would only be useful for forced induciton and would also require tuning.
So if I wanted to go bigger injectors for my NA build which ones would I be looking at??! I heard the GTs come with 305cc from factory, but I'm not to sure only found one thread mentioning that
that is correct, but no point really for larger CC injectors for an N/A build. the 305's can handle anything you throw at it N/A. They can even handle a wet shot of 100 lbs.
I have a 2008 eclipse gt v6 it has fatback exhaust and injen air intake I want to do injectors but I don’t know what ones to get. Any info would be very helpful
most people grab subaru "pinkies" as they are a direct swap. keep in mind if you swap injectors you MUST get a tune before operating the vehicle. i would only advise injectors if you are going FI, otherwise there is no point.
hey man i just bought one of these, who did your paint work? it looks awesome. MY car has 174K on it but got a great deal on it. I hope these cars have a good long life span, let me know
Curious how your guys cars are doing if you still have them? Got mine 3 years ago with about 136k and it's now just over 191k. Done really nothing but basic maintenance for the engine and then replace a good amount of suspension parts and juuust now starting to get bad lifter tick
