Unfortunately we are over two weeks behind in videos but we are working hard to get them out. A week ago we had 3/10ths of an inch of rain which is helpful but we need a good inch soaker to push moisture down. They are predicting good rain thus coming weekend!

Thanks for another great video. It was interesting and enjoyable. The drone footage was once again just great. Love the Big overall picture with the flag flying and going across the field. It is what America and farming is all about. Tugs at the heart strings and brings the tears. Heartfelt thanks Welkers!!!!!!! Thanks for the rundown on the Steiger demo. Sounds like a great tractor. The automatic adjustments the tractor makes to engine and transmission is outstanding. Takes a lot of the hard work out of it and helps with fuel efficiency. Nice unit for sure. Glad you had it for a while. Thanks for the rundown. Looks like Colby like the demo also. Found his place in the cab. Pat on the head for Colby. Switching all the equipment over to the big bud took some time. Think you said four hours. Wow. I saw in a reply your acres total around 10,500. A lot to look after. My compliments to the Welker family operation. I saw in one of the short clips that leg arms home construction had started. Big job to look after. Hang in there with that project. All for now I guess. You all take care and be safe. Looking forward to the next video. Thanks for everything. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

Please talk to the engine manufacturer about running range, as for instance Cummins X15 will make power down at 1300 rpm, but you will find the liners starting to move in the block, if you habitually run it there, under heavy load.😱Bad things happening, but, running at +1500 rpm they live a long time, use a bit more fuel, but less stress on the block deck and mid liner support ledges in the block. Best wishes all

I think you got it wrong on the exhaust gas recirculation. I was taught that EGR was introduced to reduce oxides of nitrogen which were being made by the heat of the combustion scorching the nitrogen. Recirculating a tiny part of the exhaust stream COOLS the flame and takes some of the stress off other engine components as well as reducing a pollutant that is a danger to living things.
