7 years and I have never seen this video?! I’m currently doing a 200+ headshot job and wish I had seen this video yesterday. Next week I’m doing another one so I’ll definitely be using this. It will make organizing much easier as well
Hi! Thank You for the valuable "go around" tether. Actually is the second time I cross over the channel, surprisingly I didn't left any comment with, for me is strange, as I do feel very grateful for such good tips that would consume hours of my time. So thank you again as it was really helpful even today as a refresher. Cheers
Thank you so much! I tried using the WiFi tethering and the app would just lock up. Using your method I have free tethering (kinda) in Lightroom. I'm totally happy with the limitations. Thanks!
I think the reason your JPEG files did not "seem" to appear in Lightroom was because of an import option called "Treat JPEG files next to Raw files as separate photos". If that option is not selected then Lightroom hides the JPEG files from view. It still imports them though. If you want to see the JPEGs then turn the option on. Quite useful seeing as Fuji Jpegs are so nice straight out of camera
Tethering is cool and all with my XT-2 but the connection honestly blows as it often comes loose and can cause errors in file writing. I have yet to find a tether block or mount that allows the secure connection I used to have with my Canon 1Ds series cameras.
Looks pretty good for a freebie solution. Also, how do you find the X-T2's noise levels on relatively low ISO such as 800 or 1600 on low light? I just received mine and it seems to be quite the noise. It is "good" noise, looks like a grain effect, but it is there.
Why would anyone take photos when already connected to a computer? Show how to download images into Fujifilm X-Aquire, already on memory cards, if you know how.
i can see that your RAF files have thumbnails! in my mac, i don't have that. I have sony and there are thumbnails on my raw files (ARW). on my XT2, the RAF files don't have thumbnails. can you share what you did there? thanks!
